YES I am still here.... been SWAMPED since getting home... I think things are settling down now.. I think! ;) We had a FABULOUS time on our trip.. I have LOTS of photos to share with ya! and I will do that this week!!!!

MAY PTI BLOG HOP!!!

YIPPEEE it is that time of month.. PTIs Blog Hop!! Our challenge was felt ... do you EVER have a project that you VISION that is wonderful.. and um comes out not so WONDERFUL! Well that was ME this month! SIGH! But I like it.. and wanted to HOP so here it is... I need to get some stitching on it.. then I think I will be fine..

What you cant see is I used the embossing plate.. it didnt work so well .. BUT on the lower half you can see some circles.. I will try to photograph it better!

Friday Favs.. On a MONDAY!

Well I HAD the best of intentions of sharing friday favs.. on friday but as you can see that didnt turn out so well!! :) So here they are on a monday!! :) So lets call them Monday Favs!

#1 - LOVE when we can sit out on our deck!! Of course these are my favorite people to sit out with!! (see those lilacs.. they are the first ones cut from my tree Steve and the kiddos gave me last summer!!)
#2- Farmers Market Flowers... Oh my! Need I say more!!! $17 total for these BEAUTIES!! I cant wait for the BIG market to open near me.. 2 weeks.. not long!

#3- Homemade Blackberry Jam.. in my CUTE new Weck Jars... This is our first jam of the year.. Trader Joes had fresh blackberries last week.. YUM!!

#4- FUN Summer Ideas.. are these not the CUTEST!! I am sooo gonna do those strawberries up for my Aunties 4th of July BBQ!!! WHY did I never think of this FUN idea!!! :)

#5- YOU My Dear Blog FRIENDS... round out my FAVORITES this week! I am so THANKFUL for you stopping by.. visiting me in my little corner of the WWW!!! I got this idea from Lori (Thanks Lori!)

Happy Monday!! :) I am a day late in posting my PIO challenge today! SORRY! The weekend got away from me!! (I also have a 2nd post coming in just a bit... gotta fit ALOT in this week! HA!)

So this week at PIO we had a FUN sponser - Some Odd Girl.. such CUTE digi stamps! and they are offering up a SALE just for PIO.. come HERE to see!! :)

Our challenge was Out of the Box! I decided to use the CUTE sunflower images.. and make the card into a fun little goodie too.. I added some seeds to the inside... I think it will be a FUN surprise!

The Lunch Box Note and The B-Day Card!

Happy Monday!!! :) Hope you all had a FABULOUS weekend! We did! I finally got some photos printed from our trip.. I PLAN to scrap some today! :)

Had a couple things to share!! This is a lunch box note I made up for Amanda last week.. I am just LOVING stamping my own PP... I shouldnt I have so much other that needs to be used.. but it is just FUN to make your own using fun color combos!!!
Used almost ALL PTI ... been loving the look of the scallop circle BEHIND the strip of paper, so I did that here, and I cheated and used a cute cupcake sticker I got at Jo-Anns..(My girl LOVES cupcakes!) Colored my pearls with my copics to match!!

Next I made up this card for my BABY Brothers Birthday (which was yesterday.. HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOBBY!) Oh did I say BABY.. I meant my OLDER brother! ;) hee hee!!
Guy cards are hard for me.. they always seem to have stars.. and I know they probably dont want bling.. BUT my red stars needed SOMETHING.. so they got colored with copics to match my Hawaiian Shores Blue on this card!! Again stamped up my PP, and used my cricut to cut out the center!
My NEW PTI goodies should arrive on friday!! YIPPPEEE!!! So cant wait.. until then I guess I will just have to use what I have! I mean CLEAN.. that is what I meant to say HONEST! (that was just in case my hubby was reading this! ;)

Pink Heart Pocket Card!

I just HAD to play along with the JUGS girls this week! I had a vision for a heart pocket card as soon as I saw the challenge.. PHEW I was able to get it done today! I also joined City Crafter Challenge too- Pink!! (My FAVORITE color too!)

JUGS DT Entry!

I just LOVE to see what the JUGS girls challenge us each week... It is ALWAYS inspiring!! Well they are having a DT call... so I thought what the heck! :)

I created a sunflower box using the captured card case from PTI (this is still one of my most favorite templates.. such a GREAT size!!!) and we had to use a sketch for a LO or card.. I made a matching gift card.. NOW I took that sketch and made it mine.. I do hope that is ok.. you can still see the sketch in it right?!!!! :)

PIO Challenge #18- Cute and Cuddly!

Happy Monday... I hope you all had a FABULOUS weekend.. and GREAT Moms Day! I did.. I think we should have Moms Day.. once a month! :) I dont need the gift (I LOVED what I got.. PTI gift certs.. WAHOOO!).. just the no kid fighting, family takes you to breakfast, asks WHAT you want to do... you get a nap.. Hubby cleans kitchen, makes dinner, fills your wine glass.. AND lets him call you the POOL BOY! :) Oh and if once a month the family WANTS to give me a gift.. I am all down with that! LOL!!

Teacher Appreciation Week Gifts!

Happy Thursday!! YEAH almost the weekend!! :) Hope your all having a GREAT week!!

This week at school it is Teacher Appreciation Week!! So I thought I would share the things we did!!

This years theme was casino???????? I dont silly theme to me for grade school kids.. ANYWAY.. each year we decorate the teachers door.. here is ours this year... (a card table!) the kids each wrote notes to them.. that was part of their HAND of cards! :)

Sorry with the lighting at school it is hard to get a GREAT photo.. but you get the idea! :) Amandas class has 2 teachers.. they job share!

Got the idea to make up a pack of Thank You cards from THIS post at Jennifer McGuires Blog-
I used 8 different embossing folders.. punched 8 flowers.. 2 of a different color, inked my edges.. added a computer generated sentiment put them in a CUTE clear box from PTI.. added the bow and tag and I was good to go! :)

and last but not least.. Remember THIS purse I made for the blog hop! Well Amanda really liked it and wanted it to be her gift box shape for her teachers goodies.. so she picked the colors and I got them put together.. added some candy a gift card.. and off they went! (Ok one goes tomorrow!LOL!)

CARDS, CARDS, and A CARD to share!!

Happy Wednesday!!! Hope your week is going FABULOUS!!! I have found some creative time! I cant stop stamping backgrounds.. which is not good! LOL! Only because I have so much PP upstairs I need to use! But with my PTI stamps it is so fun and EASY.. I cant help myself!!!

Had to use the new argyle, and anniversary set I got this month.. sigh.. I LOVE them both!

Here is my first set done in Aqua Mist/Hawaiian Shores/Spring Moss-
3 X 3 cards-

A little different style (a bit taller).... but same color combo-
and you KNOW I gotta make some in PINK! with stitching! :) Used Sweet Blush/Hibiscus/Spring Moss for these 2!
This card I wanted to be vintagey! I had some of that tissue left over I made.. so I made up another glimmer misted tissue flower.. stamped with lots of sets damask, text, polk dots 1
Used lots of stamps, and lots of colors.. but I like how it came out.. the only bummer I only stamped a SMALL piece of it! Oh well.. guess I need to make more!!
Used my flower dies for that fun flower (#1)!
That is all I have for today!! I have to get somethings done for the teachers.. then I HOPE to scrap some.. probably not til next week.. but I will have some shares of what I create for the teachers coming up.. and I am gonna ATTEMPT to do Friday Favs. again.. wish me luck! :)

Tulip Festival!

Happy Tuesday!!
Thank You so much for your SWEET comments on my purse below... I would send you all it if I could.. I think you would have to fight my dear sweet Amanda to get it! HA! I have ANOTHER one in my head... will share when it is done... (lets not tell Steve that... lets tell him I have been CLEANING all week! ;)

Ok so on Sunday we went to the Tulip Festival.. our yearly trip.. WELL this year we were fairly late in going, and we had a very mild winter.. so the tulips were early.. so when we went all the tulips were topped in the fields.. BOO! BUT we still got to go to RoozenGarde it was BEAUTIFUL and I managed to still get oh.... 80ish photos! :) gonna scrap next week.. some of them I HOPE!

Just thought I would share a few of the day with ya!
It really was BEAUTIFUL!! A perfect day to go.. even without seeing fields... hmmm maybe next year I will have to go TWICE! ;) Lets NOT tell my family that part!

PTI BLOG HOP!!

Happy BLOG HOP!!! It has been 2 months since I got to play along.. I missed it so much! I was EXCITED I was able to join everyone tonite!!!

So our challenge was tissue paper~ Who would have ever thought tissue could be so FUN!!

I had a vision.. I wanted to create a little purse.. with a ruffle and a flower! So I cut this little cutie with my cricut, spray and SPRAYED my tissue with glimmer mist! (OK that was first.. it takes awhile to dry!) then got busy...

This is what I came up with! -

Used my new scallop die for the ruffle, and of course my new flower die for the flower!! :)

Birthday Photo Shares!

Happy Sunday!!! SHHHHHH everyone in my house is ASLEEP, lets not wake them! :) LOL!!

Yesterday was the BIG day.. Amandas Birthday Party... It was so much FUN!!! She had a GREAT time! (I hope her friends did too!) The girls all brought their American Girl Dolls along for the fun! (it was so CUTE!)

I have some photos to share with ya!! (hoping to actually SCRAP this week! wish me luck!)

Ok lets start- She wanted an American Girl theme.. well their symbol is a Star.. so that is what we did! :)

The Invite- (made using Wild Card Cartridge- One of my Favorites!!)

The Birthday Girl! :)

Amanda made these! These were for the DOLLS! (she LOVES clay and working with it!)

For her CAKE! We made the big girls cupcakes that looked like the Minis Amanda Made! (and YES I toppled it TWICE.. but no cupcake got ruined! PHEW!)

The Treat Boxes! (for the girls and the dolls!) (made using the Tags, Bags and Boxes Cartridge!)

Inside of them- (the girls had gum, hand sanitizer my gosh the kids all LOVE this stuff! and a gift card.. in the DOLLS! :) there was a mini notebook, pen and eraser)

We made friendship bracelets, for Girls and Dolls! :)

I took ALOT more photos! But thought I would share just a few today!!
We are HOPING to go to the Tulip Festival today!! (when they all wake up! LOL!) and I HOPE HOPE HOPE to play along with the PTI blog hop tonite!! I so hope I can get my goodie made!!!

So today is the day... EVERYONE in the Johnson Household is in double digits! SIGH.. Our BABY turned 10 today.. and she is OVER the MOON!! Still telling me she will always be my little girl.. she BETTER BE! :)

Today is her get to skip school day and hang out with MOM!! We are gonna do a little shopping.. (Michaels, Target she is my girl after all!) and out to lunch.. then home to PLAY with her new goodies!!

I thought I would share a FEW things today! First a quick digi LO I did have her today.. (please dont judge me by my digi LO! LOL!! I am still working on learning PSE! Yeah I know it has been 4 years.. but it takes time! ;)
