PTI BLOG HOP!!!

 

HAPPY PTI BLOG HOP DAY!!! Oh how I LOVE that day each month!! Even if I cant play along I can LOOK the inspiration is ALWAYS off the hook!! :)

Well this month I did get to play along! I LOVED this months challenge-

WRAPPING IT UP!!!

My FAVORITE thing to do.. wrap up gifts all pretty! Every year I say I am gonna do that more often.. and every year I DO NOT! NOT this year!! Looky 2 made already and it is only Sept! (now dont come ask me how many I have done come Dec. lets just be HAPPY with now I am AHEAD of the holiday game! ;)  

 My first goodie is done using one of the tins from PTI added some felt I cut, and die cut! Topped it with a BIG snowflake that is 9 layers counting the bling snowflake!! I like when I die cut my dies to use wax paper between them (a trick from the forum I saw) well I use it even for my large ones and this time I USED that part in my big snowflake.. I like how it looks.. gonna be saving more wax paper cut outs now!!!

Next up I made up this CUTE little box.. Found the idea from Pinterest! HERE is the box.. BUT HERE are the directions to make it! It was EASY PEASY!! I plan to make a few more!! NOT 100% sure on that little holly on the tag.. you cant really tell in the photo it is there, and the color is different.. hmmm may change that!

ANYWAY!! I made the box, covered it in some fabric I got.. added ribbon, lace, bow, bling and a tag!! All ready to fill!

Thinking Of You!!

Happy Tuesday!!! Hope your all having a GREAT week!! Ours are just busy busy.. trying to get back in the swing of things.. settle in to daily homework (ick! HA HA!) glad they got DADDY to help with the tough stuff.. and Mama has GOOGLE if she needs to help them! LOL!! :) Ok I can NOT help the high school-er.. but I am still good to help the 7th grader! ;)

So I found some creative time this week! (AKA.. ignored the messy kitchen and laundry!) I am gonna share a card today I made.. I got this FUN die from My Favorite Things- I had seen it on Mona's blog and LOVED it... so I HAD to own it.. It is called the Loopy Bloom.. it is so FAST and EASY to make.. I love that! :)
Stamps are from Hero Arts.. and WOW there is no PTI stamps on it! BUT it is PTI CS.. I LOVE their CS!!!

Card Kit Share!!!

Hello!! Happy Saturday!!! It is time for our card kit share!! We skipped last month due to summer FUN (AKA crazy busy! HA HA!!) So excited to share again!!!

Mary was our hostess with the mostess this month! (THANKS Mary!) I LOVED this kit and WISH I had more time to make more.. BUT I have 2 more ideas.. and as soon as they are finished I will share!!! Here is the Kit.. I LOVE the colors she picked!!

Here is my card, and the challenges I am entering! I made that flower using clay and my PTI dies (It was the MIM this week.. I really want to make more!!! :) ) I cut it from the die, squished it a bit for dimension, and added some glitter to sparkle!! I think my grandma is gonna LOVE it!!

Love You Forever- Card Share!

Hello Blog Friends!! Hope your all having a GREAT week!! This week AGAIN is busy busy.. Justin is at Band Camp.. AND has Drivers Ed. Class.. so we drive him at 8 to band camp.. pick up at 9:30 to Drivers Class.. back to band camp at 12:30.. pick up at 4.. TODAY I get to toss in Amanda going to a Birthday Party so add in 1 more drop off... and pick up! LOL!! THEN tonite we are off to summer music.. FUN FULL DAY!!!

I did find some time to create this card! Just for fun.. and for someone special!! :)  I LOVE this cute paper from My Minds Eye.. I NEED to find another 6 X 6 pad of it! ;) I can see myself using it ALL... hee hee! (the problem is I need to actually DO that.. not just SEE IT! :) )

I used my homemade glitter tape again on this one.. and my SWEET girl made me that clay bow! (it too is covered in glitter!!)

Happy AUGUST!!! and a Card Share!

Happy AUGUST!! How is that even possible! Time is FLYING by! and I am SWAMPED the next 2 weeks.. on the road more then I seem to be home.. and I have LOTS I want to do around here! SIGH!! LEAST the sun is out!! :) So we are gonna soak up all we can and squeeze out EVERY BIT of summer fun we can!! :) Hope you are all doing the same!!

I whipped up a little card.. .wanted to share with you!!! See that GLITTER TAPE! I made it! Got the idea from looking around online..I will share more about that this week!! I have a tutorial for ya! (be gentle.. it is my first photographic one!!) Ok on with the card!!!

I LOVED this sketch when I saw my friend Mara used it! It is from Retro Sketches.. I had to play along.. I did flip it ! :) I like to be WILD like that! :)

Card Kit Share!!

PHEW FINALLY I am ready to share!! A little later then I wanted.. that seems to happen alot these days! :)

Here is the FABULOUS kit our hostess Joni sent us!! THANK YOU!!!!! I LOVED it!!!! (I have my flowers made.. just need to work up something FUN!)

First up I altered myself a little creative notebook!!  I even used the tape Joni sealed our bags with!! I LOVE that tape!! :)

 

WARNING... this is NOT my usual style.. but I just had wanted to do something FUN like this.. so I did... Used the goodies from the kit, a canvas I bought and glimmer misted, and painted.. added a photo of us and VIOLA! Done!! :) What do you think?? I am not 100% sure I think it needs something.. maybe some more sparkle! BUT I wanted to get it shared!!

Gingerloft Challenge

HOME SWEET HOME!

HELLOOO BLOG FRIENDS! I am home!! We had a FABULOUS time on our vacation!! We left the 3rd.. and got home late on the 14th... I have LOTS of photos to share with you! (I also have LOTS of stuff around here to do.. hmmmm makes me long for another vacation! HA HA!!)

I wont share all 1200+ photos I took! Well unless you really want to see! ;) I did make up some collages over at PicMonkey!

Hoping to get some creative time in this week! But for now I will share photos!!!

We started the trip at the Great Wolf Lodge, My Brother, Sis In Law, and SWEET niece joined us.. had so much FUN!!
 

Then off to Longview for the 4th.. saw the family, walked around the lake, had a BBQ, then back to the lake for fireworks!

 

 

We were then off on the 5th for our annual Long Beach, WA trip! We shortened it this time so we could head off on the next leg of our trip! :)


 
 This is our GIRLS ONLY annual picnic on the beach!! The boys golf and go to lunch.. we shop and hit the beach for a picnic lunch1





 
 We then came home for 1 night.. did laundry .. packed AGAIN and headed off to CALI .. San Fran for 3 days.. and Santa Cruz for 5 days.. it was so much FUN!! I LOVED every day!!!

These were taken on the drive back to the airport we went the other way.. none beach.. and drove through the red woods.. BEAUTIFUL! Stopped in Saratago for lunch.. then off to catch our plane! A FABULOUS time was had by all!!

Birthday Shares and Photos!

Happy SUNNY Wednesday.. FINALLY here we got some SUMMER SUN!! I wish with all my heart I could send the RAIN we are due to get to Colorado.. that just breaks my heart.. my thoughts and prayers are with EVERYONE effected by the fires!!

Today I have some crafty stuff to share with ya!! and some photos! Lets start with the crafty fun in case you want to get in and out!! Then I will share photos from my GIRLYS last day of  6th grade last week (I am still in denial she will be in 7th grade! and hello my boy will be in 10th.. oh lordy bees.. I need some wine! HA HA!!)

We celebrated  my Moms birthday last week when she was here.. she requested a red beaded necklace for part of her gift.. This is what I came up with-

Finally some photos from the last day of school!  She had a FUN day... weather wasnt the best.. but they dont seem to care on the last day! I was PROUD of me...only a FEW tears.. I am gonna MISS that school.. we have been there for 9 years and I LOVE it so much!!
