CARDS, CARDS, and A CARD to share!!

Happy Wednesday!!! Hope your week is going FABULOUS!!! I have found some creative time! I cant stop stamping backgrounds.. which is not good! LOL! Only because I have so much PP upstairs I need to use! But with my PTI stamps it is so fun and EASY.. I cant help myself!!!

Had to use the new argyle, and anniversary set I got this month.. sigh.. I LOVE them both!

Here is my first set done in Aqua Mist/Hawaiian Shores/Spring Moss-
3 X 3 cards-

A little different style (a bit taller).... but same color combo-
and you KNOW I gotta make some in PINK! with stitching! :) Used Sweet Blush/Hibiscus/Spring Moss for these 2!
This card I wanted to be vintagey! I had some of that tissue left over I made.. so I made up another glimmer misted tissue flower.. stamped with lots of sets damask, text, polk dots 1
Used lots of stamps, and lots of colors.. but I like how it came out.. the only bummer I only stamped a SMALL piece of it! Oh well.. guess I need to make more!!
Used my flower dies for that fun flower (#1)!
That is all I have for today!! I have to get somethings done for the teachers.. then I HOPE to scrap some.. probably not til next week.. but I will have some shares of what I create for the teachers coming up.. and I am gonna ATTEMPT to do Friday Favs. again.. wish me luck! :)

Tulip Festival!

Happy Tuesday!!
Thank You so much for your SWEET comments on my purse below... I would send you all it if I could.. I think you would have to fight my dear sweet Amanda to get it! HA! I have ANOTHER one in my head... will share when it is done... (lets not tell Steve that... lets tell him I have been CLEANING all week! ;)

Ok so on Sunday we went to the Tulip Festival.. our yearly trip.. WELL this year we were fairly late in going, and we had a very mild winter.. so the tulips were early.. so when we went all the tulips were topped in the fields.. BOO! BUT we still got to go to RoozenGarde it was BEAUTIFUL and I managed to still get oh.... 80ish photos! :) gonna scrap next week.. some of them I HOPE!

Just thought I would share a few of the day with ya!
It really was BEAUTIFUL!! A perfect day to go.. even without seeing fields... hmmm maybe next year I will have to go TWICE! ;) Lets NOT tell my family that part!

PTI BLOG HOP!!

Happy BLOG HOP!!! It has been 2 months since I got to play along.. I missed it so much! I was EXCITED I was able to join everyone tonite!!!

So our challenge was tissue paper~ Who would have ever thought tissue could be so FUN!!

I had a vision.. I wanted to create a little purse.. with a ruffle and a flower! So I cut this little cutie with my cricut, spray and SPRAYED my tissue with glimmer mist! (OK that was first.. it takes awhile to dry!) then got busy...

This is what I came up with! -

Used my new scallop die for the ruffle, and of course my new flower die for the flower!! :)

Birthday Photo Shares!

Happy Sunday!!! SHHHHHH everyone in my house is ASLEEP, lets not wake them! :) LOL!!

Yesterday was the BIG day.. Amandas Birthday Party... It was so much FUN!!! She had a GREAT time! (I hope her friends did too!) The girls all brought their American Girl Dolls along for the fun! (it was so CUTE!)

I have some photos to share with ya!! (hoping to actually SCRAP this week! wish me luck!)

Ok lets start- She wanted an American Girl theme.. well their symbol is a Star.. so that is what we did! :)

The Invite- (made using Wild Card Cartridge- One of my Favorites!!)

The Birthday Girl! :)

Amanda made these! These were for the DOLLS! (she LOVES clay and working with it!)

For her CAKE! We made the big girls cupcakes that looked like the Minis Amanda Made! (and YES I toppled it TWICE.. but no cupcake got ruined! PHEW!)

The Treat Boxes! (for the girls and the dolls!) (made using the Tags, Bags and Boxes Cartridge!)

Inside of them- (the girls had gum, hand sanitizer my gosh the kids all LOVE this stuff! and a gift card.. in the DOLLS! :) there was a mini notebook, pen and eraser)

We made friendship bracelets, for Girls and Dolls! :)

I took ALOT more photos! But thought I would share just a few today!!
We are HOPING to go to the Tulip Festival today!! (when they all wake up! LOL!) and I HOPE HOPE HOPE to play along with the PTI blog hop tonite!! I so hope I can get my goodie made!!!

So today is the day... EVERYONE in the Johnson Household is in double digits! SIGH.. Our BABY turned 10 today.. and she is OVER the MOON!! Still telling me she will always be my little girl.. she BETTER BE! :)

Today is her get to skip school day and hang out with MOM!! We are gonna do a little shopping.. (Michaels, Target she is my girl after all!) and out to lunch.. then home to PLAY with her new goodies!!

I thought I would share a FEW things today! First a quick digi LO I did have her today.. (please dont judge me by my digi LO! LOL!! I am still working on learning PSE! Yeah I know it has been 4 years.. but it takes time! ;)

PTI Princess Challenge/Share!

Happy Thursday!! My gosh a WEEK since I last posted.. I cant seem to catch up.. with Vacation, After Vacation stuff, heading off again to celebrate my cousins birthday last week, and trying to get Amandas invites done.. (my baby 10 in one week! WAHHH.. yes that was me you heard crying! LOL!! time goes to fast!) ANYWAY... I am back...

This week it is my turn to host the challenge for our PTI blog group.. the Papertey Princess.. I was thinking of what I wanted to do... then I thought of SPRING.. being it is the season.. everything seems so NEW and FRESH this time of year!!

So my challenge to you is an easy peasy one! Think Spring.. Think New.. it can be anything you want it to be.. a new color combo.. a new technique you have wanted to try, NEW supplies.. ANYTHING..

Diane inspired me with her stipe paper! (she was inspired by PTIs FABULOUS Dawn) so I had to make some of the paper!

For My Card
I used a NEW color combo.. Hawaiian Shores, Aqua Mist, and Chartreuse! Used my NEW felt, Dies, and Hawaiian Shores colored items! I also used a new LO for this.. I usually always have things front and center.. decided to go a bit to the side.. I plan to make MORE like this!LOL!

I am HOME!

:) Just got home tonite! We missed the Cali earthquake by 2 hours! I HOPE all my Cali friends are safe and sound!

Our trip was FANTASTIC!!!!!!! Steve surprised us with a trip to Disney for 4 days... then off for a 7 day cruise to Mexico! I was so SURPRISED.. we had so much fun!!

I have to sort through my 1290 photos! :) So Terri my friend you were the winner at the 1000 guess!! I will get your goodie ready to go this week!!! THANKS for playing along everyone!!

Now the real fun... 11 days worth of Laundry! HA! :)

Guy Cards... and the additions!

Happy Monday!! The sun is TRYING to shine today... after a night of RAIN... then it must have gotten very COLD.. our windows were icy when I took Justin to the bus.. a friend emailed me and said she heard the S word in our future... NOOOOO NOOOOO SNOW! (pretty please!... if I cant have one day in Jan.. I dont want any! HA!) ANYWAY!!

So this week I need THREE cards for the GUYS! :) I have such a hard time with them! I dont know why.. ok I do.. because I like to use flowers, and pinks, and frills and bling! and not to many guys I know will enjoy that! HA HA! So I put all that out of my brain and came up with these...

First off my brothers... he turned the Big 4-0 on saturday! :) Got to go have a FABULOUS dinner that THEY put on for us for HIS DAY! YUM! and sooo BEAUTIFUL!! (THANKS AGAIN Timmons Family!) (I got photos to share.. later! ) ANYWAY... I was out taking the photo of the card.. and as I did I decided.. ok it needs...
So here it is BEFORE!

and AFTER... with the PEARLS.. see they are MANLY.. colored with my copics to match the KRAFT CS! :)


Next up our good friends son turned 13 last week.... so I had to make up his card.. AGAIN.. when taking the photo it NEEDED something... so here is

and AFTER.. just added some brown dots around the edges... KNOW what STEVE said.. wow this isnt like your style.. the brown dots are almost perfectly spaced.. so unlike you! HA HA!! Does he know me or WHAT! LOL!!! What can I say.. a moment of almost perfection was mine! ;) it wont happen again! LOL!!!

I used my Spicas on this.. I WISH you could see them better.. all around the star and the 13.. just for a little extra POP!

So for card 3 I thought.. I will make it just right the first time... but OH NO.. again.. taking the photo.. thinking... it needs a little more.. so here it is

For the center I traced around my fillable frame die from PTI... I LOVE new uses for things! LOL!!
