Good Morning!! Hope you all had a GREAT week!! Ours was busy and fun.. our boy came home Friday until Saturday.. it was a QUICK visit.. but I LOVED every minute of it!! :)

Little Pumpkin 2!!

HAPPY FRIDAY! Hope you all had a GREAT Week... I was able to create ALOT! It felt GOOD!! 

Remember that little pumpkin jar in the post below?!! Well I cant STOP creating Pumpkins with the cute little Dollar Tree Jars!!! I have created a little vintage one this time! Going to enter some challenges.. they will be listed below all the photos! THANKS if you make it all the way through! LOL!!

 A Quick Peek at Both Little Pumpkins.. I just LOVE that jar can be altered to such different looks!!!

For anyone interested here are the steps to this vintagey pumpkin!!

Basically the same process as orange pumpkin (steps listed in blog post below this one!).. started with the Spray paint by Krylon ColorMaster (paint + primer) in ivory (satin)made for most surfaces..so it says!! Then after that dried light sanding then I use Apple Barrel acrylic paint in Country Tan.. painted it on.. then wiped it off.. did this a couple times.. to get the look I wanted.. then I added streaks with a paint brush of craft smart acrylic paint in Bright Gold.. again wiping it off, repeating until I got the look I wanted.. then to top it off when it was dry I sprayed it with a glitter blast spray paint- Diamond Dust.. Spray Paint Lid with brown and for this little cutie I made a stem with clay (baked it.. hot glued it on the top!) Added my lace all the way around the lid.. added my bow, tag and trinket pins.. and done!

Happy Tuesday! Hope your all having a GREAT week!! I have about 1 Million things on my plate as I TRY to get ready for my sons 18th Birthday Parties that are coming up Friday and Saturday.. Good Sunday Morning!! Hope you all are having a GREAT weekend!! Our has been so NICE! Spent the whole day in a place I LOVE yesterday.. Leavenworth... weather was PERFECT.. today I woke to RAIN and hubby told me the Mt. pass got SNOW (PHEW missed that!!) ANYWAY...

BOO!! Happy Halloween!!

Warning LONG POST with Photos! :) 

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! Hope you all had a GREAT week and have a FUN and SAFE Halloween!!  This is the first year I have no kids going out.. they still gotta trick or treat here for me!! (they will for the candy! ;) and because they LOVE me! HA HA!) 1 is off to a party.. the other is gonna hang out here!! I plan to open the door and see all the CUTE and SCARY costumes!!

Ok enough chit chat!! I have a couple Halloween Shares for ya!! First up is a version of the Halloween card I sent.. I actually sent a few this year, different styles.. I had PLANS for them to be the same but then this came to my head so I had to start over and make these up! ;) (yes I do this sometimes!! put me behind but thats ok!!)

Before I go I wanted to share a treat box I made for our neighbors for Halloween!!! Used the Captured Card Case from PTI.. added a die cut window (my first time of doing that and I LOVED the look.. will try again!)

 Inside- This was a new recipe to me and we all LOVED it!! Will make again!!

  

If your interested here are the links to the recipes I used.. I did do a few things differently.. I used half Whole Wheat & White Flour , half White/Brown Sugar, added some homemade vanilla, and milk choc, chip!

Merry Christmas Jar Share!

Happy SUNNY Thursday!! Hope you're all having a GREAT week!! 

I had time to play along with this weeks MIM on Nicoles Blog...(if you know me you know I LOVE anything to do with Jars! Boxes, Bags.. etc... etc.. ha ha!!) I have a FEW of them running in my head now! So that was a warning you maybe seeing MORE! ;)

Here is the jar I created! I really wanted it to sparkle! So after I did coats of green and white paint I used my glitter spray paint over it! (need to replace this with the holidays upon us!) I then STAMPED it with my distressed stripes stamps from PTI and added embossing powder and head embossed so it would stay on! .. that is the GREAT thing about acrylic stamps you can bend them anyway you want.. so for the stripes I used NO block.. just my hand to gently lay them down and press.. I was happy with them!!! Then I added the FUN big tulle bow and embellies!!

First if you dont mind I am gonna share just a couple quick photos.. my BABY BOY who is a Senior! (where as time gone!) got his Sr. Photos taken.. WELL I wanted family photos and brother/sister photos that day too.. SO if you dont mind real quick.. I am gonna share just 2 of them! (more will come later!) but oh I was so HAPPY with them!! I cant keep it in!

 Ok THANK YOU!! NOW on to the project!! I had plans to make an ornament BUT my BEAUTIFUL metal poinsettia was just a bit to large, SO I swapped it to this CUTE little gift box, which makes me happy!! NOW I am ahead of the Holiday game.. by 1 gift box! :) Challenges listed below!

 

The poinsettia is made from 2 different pink color metals AND silver! To get that green for the leaves I used my green inka-gold over the silver!! I know exactly who is gonna get this.. now to find the perfect little gift to go inside!!!

Favorite Things....

Good Sunday Morning!!!  I am gonna have a BIG post for you today.. that was your WARNING FOR PHOTOS!! and TALKING! HA HA!! :) 

2nd week of our PIO challenge! P is for.. (anything you want!!) So for my share this week I am using my gift wrap from our Favorites Thing Gift Exchange!! We do it every year, and it is sooooo FUN!!! This year my gift was these FABULOUS dip mixes from The Coeur d"Alene Dressing Co. We tried them while on our last day of vacation in CDA and I LOVED them.. and their dressing/sauces are FABULOUS too!! (some going out for xmas gifts.. and right to me too! HA HA!)

So here is how I packaged up my goodies!!! 

 

I had to make up 9 bags !!

Recipe Here! I did cheat this time and buy my spinach and arti dip made! :) Added some fresh garlic and parm. cheese and it was DELISH! Have made it the reg. way too and just as YUMMY! Premade phyllo cups are the BEST! :) )
