HELLLOOOO and a VERY HAPPY THURSDAY... almost the weekend?? You READY?!! I sure am! I have heard a rumor of SUNSHINE coming! YEAH! My sweet TEEN is going to Tolo Saturday (warning.. LOTS of photos to be SHARED! ;) ) and Sunday... SUPERBOWL!  I wont be watching BUT I will be making yummy treats.. and CREATING!! :)

Anyway! I have a share for ya!! I am playing along with MFTs GDT Challenge Sketch! They are my NEW LOVE!! They do ROCK MY WORLD!! My CREATIVE world that is! I am in LOVE with their dies, their stamps, and I am now growing my collection of felt, paper, inks and buttons from them!! (I am so DARN SURE my hubby is OVERJOYED by that news.. wait.. he may not know.. lets not tell him ok!! :) )

This is my take on it- Went with a square version... How I LOVE a good square! HA! :)

For the center I die cut 2 of the heart doily die.. cut one in half... used my score tape and layered it, cutting off the extra hearts.. I LOVE when your vision comes out.. and works well IRL!!!

I do NOT know how everyone puts the cute photos with links in their postings... so I am gonna just link up what I used old school style! :)

Die-Namics- Heart Doily, Mini Double Dot (I cut to make single dot!), Keys and Locks, the red heart center of my bow is one of the heart pieces from the doily I cut in red felt, that is coming another day to ya!!

Card and Recipe Share!

Happy Sunday!!! I hope your all having a GREAT weekend!!! Ours has been nice!! I have a couple shares for you today!!!


I played along at a Cyber Crop...at Scrappin Mojo.. had so much FUN! got a few things done!!! This challenge was to use a pocked.. I whipped up this card!!! Challenges are listed below!

 In my QUEST still to be healthier.. and work on an 85%-90% clean eating way of life!! I have been trying a few new goodies!! I really LOVE The Gracious Pantry she has some YUMMY recipes!! THIS is the one we made for dinner it was YUMMY! I did add to mine, shallots,  artichokes, and fresh parsley! I served mine over Spag. Squash and my boys had theirs over pasta! Will make it again!!

 

On my hunt I have been TRYING to make better snacks.. been reading alot about Kale Chips.. SO I gave them a try! There are ALOT of recipes out there.. for these I just tossed them with 1 TEASPOON of olive oil.. and some sea salt and garlic I have.. I cook them at 300.. for 4 minutes.. toss.. 4 more minutes toss.. 2 minutes.. toss.. 2 more minutes toss.. I tried them at 350 and they burned.. they cook fast.. so that is why I do the smaller cooking times!!! NOW do they taste like chips.. NO .. are they good.. YES!! Even my TEEN liked them! and Helloo you can eat the WHOLE batch without guilt! :)

PTI Make It Monday - Share!

HI!! Happy Sunday.. take 2!!! I know I go 2 weeks without a post and then BA-BAM 2 in 1 day!! HA! If your here for the PIO share please just scroll down!!

I really wanted to play along for this weeks MIM at PTI... It was a FUN one! (Ok they all are.. I just dont get to them all!)

This week was to create a way to hold larger or extra embellished cards!! I LOVE when you can put embellies, etc.. that hang over the card! WELL it is hard to put them in the envelope.. so this is what I came up with! While making my Valentine below I thought WOW this die is PERFECT to make a little envelope! So I cut 2 of them.. put in a score line.. and 2 pockets inside.. one for the card, and one for a gift card!! Added some FUN stamping and embellies to the front and it is READY..

PIO Share- Hearts!!

Happy Sunday! WOWY I cant believe it has been 2 weeks since I have posted... I was gonna be BETTER in 2013!!! :) Well I will have to work on that from NOW on!! :)

Hope your all having a GREAT weekend! Ours is nice.. nothing to MAJOR so I am having some crafty fun with some online friends.. (will share that this week!!)

Here is my creation (I am LOVING this die from PTI so much .. you will notice that is a warning of what is coming later! HA HA!!) I added a white bag to the center , the die on either side and presto a FUN valentine!! Cant wait to fill it!!! :)   I cut the Digital Heart Image into a heart for this project .. added some pretty PP, a tag, bow and CUTE heart made by my girly added some distressing and it is ready!! HELLLOOOOO and HAPPY NEW YEAR!! and if your my FABULOUS Sis-In- Law.. HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! (wishing I was closer to help you celebrate!!)

I hope you ALL had a WONDERFUL Holiday! We sure did.. everyone went back to work and school today.. so that means this Mama is back to the Y.. good eating, oh and CLEANING up the aftermath!! AFTER chatting with you! :)

So do you have a resolution? A Word of the year? My resolutions all seem to be the same each year.. keep up on workouts.. eat healthier, clean, and organize (more.. better! etc...) and my word this year is JOY.. I LOVE that word.. and I plan to find more JOY in all I do!! Maybe NOT more JOY in cleaning.. BUT then again.. if I do keep up on that.. I will have more time to CREATE.. and that brings me JOY.. see it all works out!! :)

 Ok.. done chatting! I have a creative share for you! :) This is the set I made up for that FABULOUS sis in law noted above!! I always LOVE to make Kimmie something wintery and fun.. she LOVES snow, and hello her birthday is today.. Jan. 2nd.. in WINTER time so it is perfect.. and for me this is the BEST kind of SNOW.. paper and glitter! :)
