I have a card to share with ya... I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Friendship Jar, and Fillers Sets.. from PTI... NOT that I have used them much.. but oh the ideas I have!! :) My Mom had to have surgery on both knees (LOVE YOU MOM!) and the kiddos and I went to visit her and take her to lunch... I had to give her a card with her flowers... I knew what I wanted to do.. those FABULOUS tulips in the Spring Set!! So this is what I came up with.. it isnt overly embellished... but sometimes I think the card just stands alone.. and to me those tulips just stand alone.. in all their beauty... (Ok I LOVE tulips that could be why I say those things! HA HA!)
My card.. and a few challenges I am entering it in!! :) Used my copics and spicas to color it, distressed edges.. stitching..and viola all done!

ReplyDeleteAs the saying goes, "Less is more." Although, I wouldn't exactly classify this card as less. The tulips are gorgeous, the coloring impressive. And the stitched border adds just the right touch. I do need to get my machine out.
