So this week I need THREE cards for the GUYS! :) I have such a hard time with them! I dont know why.. ok I do.. because I like to use flowers, and pinks, and frills and bling! and not to many guys I know will enjoy that! HA HA! So I put all that out of my brain and came up with these...
First off my brothers... he turned the Big 4-0 on saturday! :) Got to go have a FABULOUS dinner that THEY put on for us for HIS DAY! YUM! and sooo BEAUTIFUL!! (THANKS AGAIN Timmons Family!) (I got photos to share.. later! ) ANYWAY... I was out taking the photo of the card.. and as I did I decided.. ok it needs...
So here it is BEFORE!
and AFTER... with the PEARLS.. see they are MANLY.. colored with my copics to match the KRAFT CS! :)
Next up our good friends son turned 13 last week.... so I had to make up his card.. AGAIN.. when taking the photo it NEEDED something... so here is

and AFTER.. just added some brown dots around the edges... KNOW what STEVE said.. wow this isnt like your style.. the brown dots are almost perfectly spaced.. so unlike you! HA HA!! Does he know me or WHAT! LOL!!! What can I say.. a moment of almost perfection was mine! ;) it wont happen again! LOL!!!
I used my Spicas on this.. I WISH you could see them better.. all around the star and the 13.. just for a little extra POP!
So for card 3 I thought.. I will make it just right the first time... but OH NO.. again.. taking the photo.. thinking... it needs a little more.. so here it is

For the center I traced around my fillable frame die from PTI... I LOVE new uses for things! LOL!!

ReplyDeleteI can hear you on the snow - after two days of sunshine that white fluffy stuff came down again. Eek! Anyways, fantastic job on the guy cards!! While they are all great, I'm particularly fond of the first one - I love the texture of the embossed background and also the color combo is just perfect, IMHO anyways.
ReplyDeleteI love the first card with the stars. I want to lift that one since I finally got the stars embossing plate! The before and after photos are so much FUN! I saw the before and thought, "it looks finished to me." LOL! That little detail make a great card into a WOW card!
