Happy Wednesday!

Happy pretty sunny Wednesday! For us at the moment!! I hope the rain holds off until AFTER raven racers at the school today!!! they arent as fun in the rain! LOL!!!

So I have been doing some scrappen this week! Thought I would share!!!

Ok good idea! :) Trust me you dont have to ask me TWICE to take photos! LOL!!!


and finally for a challenge at Scrappin Mojo this was my take on the sketch... playing in the Ocean at Seaside this summer!


and FINALLY!! (hey I told you I was busy! LOL!!!) this is one I started and finished for our Disney trip on 03! (can you say BEHIND!! LOL!!) You cant see it but I stitched yellow all around the large squares!!!

So I am busy busy the next few days... wedding on friday!! FUN FUN FUN!! Saturday we get to watch Buggy while Larry and Kimmie go to the Husky game! the kids are so excited Amanda asks DAILY how many days til buggy comes!! :) then sunday we are off to hunt down fabric for Halloween costumes so Tutu can get started!!!

Some stuff to share! This was done for the super cute Sept. Kit at IBSS I just LOVED the colors in this one! I am working on a LO still and will share that as soon as I finish! It needs SOMETHING! But here are a few of the goodies I have made! The block was inspired by my friend Mara she made some and they were sooo CUTE! I am making them for the kids and one for me! and I have some for the grandparents too.. Must get busy! LOL! I got Amandas started and will put the photos on them tomorrow (hopefully!) The little fair mini book is for my grandma.. gotta get the fair photos in it, and ready to give to her next weekend!

ANYWAY! On with the show! LOL!












On the soccer front! Amanda is doing GREAT! today they won their first game! YIPPPEEE! and BIG NEWS... she scored her FIRST GOAL! I was so DARN excited! So was she!! Guess who DID NOT have her camera! SIGH! I will get one next time!! :)
All the girls did GREAT.. they looked like little pros! (Ok I could be biased! LOL!!) but all their stuff they did in practice was there today, it was FUN to watch!!!!

Justin is at a birthday party so it is just Amanda here .... she gets to pick where we go to dinner, and then we are gonna come home and have some Wii FUN!! They rented a couple new games... I gotta buy one of them.. .beach games! SO FUN! (and I havent even played yet! LOL!!)

Lets see other Johnson news! Amanda had her 1st soccer game! They didnt win but she had FUN!! She played position #1 (which was a forward way back WAY BACK when I played! LOL!! ) and Goalie.. Oh my.. I never liked that position at all PRESSURE! She didnt like it either! BUT she stopped a couple balls.. we wont talk about the ones that got by! HA HA!!!
Here is a little slide show of her first game and pictures last night.. she wanted to pose for me like she was kicking um sorta looks like she lost her leg! LOL!!! Dad pointed that out for her! :)

I LOVE her face in the photo where she has just kicked the ball! so cute! She ALMOST got a goal too! Maybe next game!!! :)

My good friend Mara picked ME to get a blog award! THANKS Mara... now I get to pass that on to 7 people... Hmmm that is gonna make me think.. I LOVE so many blogs! and that Mara picked 3 I would have for sure picked!!! :) So I am gonna think about it , and update tomorrow or friday with my picks.. and some stuff I am working on!!

Off to the grocery store! gonna BBQ steaks for dinner! YUM! and have these with it, I made them the other night (sorry no photo! I will try tonite!) they were sooo GOOD! so Justin and Steve will get them with their Steak! :) I will just watch! LOL!! Diet wise I am watching my potato intake at 7pm! :) besides I am having some WINE.. so dont feel to bad for me missing the tato's! :)

Lots to share!!!

Happy 1st day of school for our kiddos!! :) They were both so excited for today...A little nervous they said but EXCITED! They both have GREAT teachers! It is gonna be a GREAT year.... but first I have other shares.. then 1st day photos! :)

We took a little trip for the nite/day to Leavenworth for one last FLING before school starts!.. I LOVE it there.. Such a cute town...We had alot of fun... went swimming in the heated pool! NOW when they say heated they mean HEATED... it was probably 85 in there.. not like a HEATED pool that is 70! LOL! it was like bath water! We played Mini Golf, ATE! :) shopped, of course we went to Kris Kringle my FAVORITE store... I got a Halloween decoration, and a cute new house for our xmas village! Then more shopping! Stop in for fudge! :) Then on the road home! We stopped at the Deception Falls... that is one AMAZING waterfall! (and I just realized that I didnt share a photo! next time! :) )

Fair time!! We had so much FUN at the fair! We got their at 11am! and left about 6pm! PHEW!!! It was a fun full day!! WE all got bands to ride unlimited rides! We ATE! Watched some pig races!! (that was EXCITING! LOL!) went in the barns! (JOY! LOL!) Rode more rides, Justin and Steve went scuba diving!! They had a BLAST! It was a free 15 minute class! Amanda and I watched she had fun SQUIRTING everyone! An instructor showed her how to do that! She loved it!!! and then Amanda decided she wanted to get lassoed!! LOL! The cowboy didnt catch her! :) Out to Mexican for dinner then home!! and bed.. I was BEAT! LOL!!!

and FINALLY here we are the BIG 1st day today!!! and NOOO I didnt ask them to pose like that in their individual photos... they are just naturals! HA HA!! I took lots more but well you know gotta save some as a surprise on the LO!!
It is sooo QUITE at the moment... I gotta get used to that again!!

Rainy AGAIN here! SIGH!!! I am bummed the kiddos last few days of summer are gonna end like this... there is hope it could clear off right! they have 7 days left of summer come on SUN!! :)

I have some stuff to share!! As usual a recipe from The Pioneer Women Cooks I made this Mexican Lasagnalast week and it was a HIT! I did a few things different! I used chicken instead of beef! I also had some red peppers I wanted to use up so I diced them up and put them in.. and olives.. we LOVE olives... so I added them too! I then topped it with lettuce, SC, salsa and fresh Avocado! YUM!! Of course I have photos to share of it! (My family thinks I am CRAZY when I do this! LOL!! oh well! Let them think what they want.. I like photos! HEE HEE!)

Last week we also went blueberry picking the season was sooo LATE this year due to our bad weather... the kids didnt want to leave until each had a full can.. that has never happened usually we get about 1 and 3/4 cans full.. this year 3 cans.. Um need blueberrys! HA HA!!!

Happy RAINY Thursday!!

Well I just emailed my friend Mara that it wasnt raining! UM I LIED! LOL! it is POURING NOW.. the kids have playdates... that means inside play....OH YEAH! ;)

So I have been doing some scrappen this week.. this week of RAIN!! and been doing some BAKING! YUM!! Made these Andes Mint Cookies found here you gotta scroll down a bit! Our safeway didnt have the andes so I used Ghirardelli mint candys~ YUM ~ we also added nuts and some vanilla! It didnt call for either.. but I NEED both in my cookies! :) I think next time I make these I am gonna use a toffee or caramel candy on top! YUM!! wont that be good!!! It is just a choc. cookie, then the mint is the topping so really you can do anything.. I ran out of mints and topped 5 of them with Choc. Chips and NUTS! YUM!!! Protein nuts are good for ya! LOL!!

Happy Monday!

Well I guess all my complaining about being to hot was heard... we are due for a week of RAIN... WAHHH!! I didnt want that.. I just didnt want it 90 in my house!!! Now here it is.. POURING... Amanda just ran upstairs to get on something WARM and COZY! and get her umbrella to go outside.. you know what that means.. PHOTOS for mom!! I wish I felt that giddy about the rain! LOL!! Ahhh to be young again! :)

I have some things to share!!! First off I made this another recipe from The Pioneer Women Cooks it was sooo GOOD! In fact I was just editing the photo and Justin saw it.. and said YUM that olive bread.. you gotta make that again mom! :)

It was soooo GOOD!!! I do need to make it! Hmmm with all this rain coming ~ gooey bread and spaghetti sound YUMMY! LOL!!! I also want to make this I think it looks sooo good!!

Ok hold on one minute... time for rain photos! She better get out there before the thunder starts ~ she wont last long when that happens! Ok thunder has arrived!! She is DONE! LOL!!!

Lets see what else do I have... Oh more food! These yummy rocky road pops here at a FUN new site I LOVE to visit Moments 2 Remember the kids LOVED them.. and well so did I! LOL!!!


and finally! Some scrappy stuff! I did this one yesterday for a couple challenges! Photos were of Amanda and Allyson at the fair a couple weeks ago! Arent they the CUTEST!! :)


I can not believe school starts in just over 2 weeks! Summer has went so fast! I still have things I want to do with the kiddos! I better hurry!! We have go to go boating 2 weekends in a row.. that was FUN! Went to Port Orchard, and Port Ludlow.. 2 of our favorites! gonna go to Poulsbo next month.. Steve is so good to me there is the CUTEST store there and I want to go when their fall stuff is out.. so YES the boating trip was planned around a store! THANKS honey! :)

We were gonna go pick Blueberries today, um not now.. so I guess that means SCRAP TIME!! or I mean HOUSE CLEANING time.. (in case Steve is reading this! HA HA!!)

All suited up!

Well today was Justins FIRST football practice in full practice gear.. He was pretty EXCITED!!! Now I asked him to make this face for the photo, UM oh my... it is NOT my Justin.. he is always smiling eyes sparkling... Not this tough meany face... I dont like it! LOL!! But he does look good in his gear doesnt he.. Growing to fast for this mom!!! sigh!
So here is the LO, I just did!! Pretty fast and easy... well sorta I worked on the clear stuff all day to get it the right size, but I think I figured it all out! LOL!!!


I got the FUN idea for the transparency's from Jennifer McGuire's class she offered at two peas in a bucket! I LOVED it... I actually printed the images from doodle bats I bought.. but I did also stamp the brackets, and I used her fun idea to just take your marker around the edges to give the transparency more POP! I hope to get some more done tomorrow, or next week! I have some card ideas, and a LO for some of Amandas baby photos! (yeah I know I am BEHIND! LOL!!)

So where did our sun go!! One day isnt enough for me I need it BACK! LOL!!! So since we couldnt play outside we played inside!!!

Here is what the kiddos and I did today! Trying to reuse more things.. so here is some fun mini albums! I cut the covers out of the boxes.. then let the kids decorate them anyway they want! :) NOW to get some photos for inside!!!

Happy Friday and some stuff to share!!

Ok I have to admit I have a new addiction to The Pioneer Women Cooks! I cant stop finding YUMMY recipes on her site!! I shared this recipe in an earlier post.. I made it again.. and sharing a photo!!!

It is just seriously the BEST salad ever ever ever~ hee hee!! Steve likes it, Justin likes it.. and the BEST part is.. you just toss in whatever veggies you have, I totally adjusted the recipe to fit what we had... carrots, peppers, red onion, zucc., bean sprouts, and we add chicken!! Again for my dressing I used the sesame dressing from Trader Joes.. just to use it up, but I added some of her dressing stuff to just to jazz it up ~ and YUM!! It will be made all summer long here... and you see that platter... she always says put things on a platter that makes your heart pitter patter... that made me pitter patter last week at Kohls.. I had to buy it! I used some of my winnings from the slots before the concert.. I LOVED it.. and I LOVED the bowl... but I walked away from that $50 beauty! SIGH! I do have some control~! HA HA!!!
Ok there is my food share! Since our sun was hiding last week I did some scrappen!! Want to see! :) Some Beach, some 4th, and some FALL! (yeah I am BEHIND... way BEHIND.. 10 years but who is counting!!)
