What a GREAT show!!! He is such an amazing performer! Even Steve enjoyed the show!!
He got everyone invovled, made it seem like even if you were in the back row, you were still right up front! He had cool lights, and all these fun filming angles ~ it felt like you were watching a video sometimes just the way the shot it!!!

He sang for 2 hours and 15 minutes!!! We will for sure see him again! (Oh I havent told Steve that part yet! LOL!)

My gifts from Steve for our anniversary yesterday!! YEAH I wanted that Hot pink cutie SOOOO BAD!!!

Now ask what he got... NOTHING! We said NO GIFTS! Since we just had our big trip, new truck, Concert last saturday and this saturday... did he listen NOOOO!! am I glad he did ~ YES! LOL!! Now to get him to buy those golf clubs he wants so I dont feel so bad!!!!

Gary Allen Concert!

GARY ALLEN WAS AMAZING!


WOWY what a concert!! We are so gonna see him AGAIN! He puts on a GREAT show!

We got to our seats about 6pm... tickets said the show started at 6:30- we werent sure if that included the rodeo~ oh it did! That was fun to watch too~ LONG for the kids the concert started at 9:15pm! YIKES!
It was a bit loud for Amanda, but as you can see she did FALL ASLEEP during the show, so it must not have been to bad! :) Justin loved it! Stayed up and listened to it all!
I think they both had fun! I know I did! and FOR SURE he is a repeat concert for at least Steve and I! I couldnt get to ROWDY the kids were there! :) and one was asleep on my leg! The ONLY concert I have ever sat down for!!! LOL!!!

Today we are headed out on the boat! Cant WAIT! and what a BEAUTIFUL weekend it is!

Well we all SURVIVED the 1st day of school~ Some of THEM actually liked it! LOL! Ok I was a bit sad, and missed them... and will get over it! The kiddos on the other hand had a FANTASTIC day and both say it is gonna be a GREAT year! PLEASE let them always think that about school!!!! :)

So to fill my day I have been cleaning like CRAZY! HA HA! NOT!!!!! I went to Walmart.. got some things we needed, some we didnt! :) and some PHOTOS!!!!

These are what I picked up today, and I used the challenge at 2scrappy chix designs to complete it! I still need to do a side 2, hopefully later I can get it done!!!

1st Day of School!

Well it is OFFICIAL the kiddos are in school! SIGH!!! I miss them! the house is to quiet!
I know I will get used to it, and enjoy this time.. but today I want them BACK just for the day, so we can play, and they can fight! Ok maybe not fight! LOL!!! SIGH.... the summer went so FAST! We did so many fun things.... I know before I know it ~ it will be summer 2008! Time FLIES like that!!!!!

So today I am sitting here on the computer, and surfing! THINKING I should clean something, like my messy kitchen! I have TONS of laundry to do too!


Steve said just sit at the computer and turn up the Disney Channel real loud it will be like they are still at home! :)

I said hmmmm maybe I will! :) I do need to do one load of laundry they all need socks! ha ha!!! and I will clean the kitchen after that I am gonna read my new CK, and SCRAP!
Yeah I feel better already!!!

The BEST $10 I ever spent!!!!

I just love the farmers markets we have around here! Love all the fresh fruits and veggies... but my favorite things to get are the FLOWERS! Hello this BIG BEAUTIFUL bouquet was $10! It seriously is huge... takes up well over 1/3 of our table! :)

So it is the last weekend of summer! We are going to hang around here, do some shopping tomorrow, for tile (the kitchen has been done for a year!) and FURNITURE for the living room! I figure if I type this out I will have to get it! Steve gave me a blank check when we moved in 5 years ago to find what I want... the hunt still continues! I have a VISION! BUT I am tired of waiting for that VISION ..... so I am gonna SERIOUSLY hunt tomorrow, and maybe adjust that vision! Wish us luck! You probably should wish Steve the luck... he has to deal with a VISION crazy wife! :)

OH we found out the kiddos teachers! Amanda has Ms. Gradl~ who I really wanted for her! and Justin has a new teacher Mrs. Curfman... she seems very nice!
On a sad note, neither one got there very best friend in their class, BUT they do have other friends they know in the class so that always makes it easy for a new adventure, and they will I am sure make even MORE friends as they get to know other kids!! and their friends are only a class room away, they always have RECESS!!!

Our NEW toy!

FUN FUN FUN!

We got a new truck on sat. it is REALLY nice! It is a 2006, and is in FABULOUS condition! The kids are so excited it has bucket seats for them! I am excited it has a 6 CD player, AND Sunroof! Amanda likes that too! :)

I drove it for the first time yesterday! I was bit NERVOUS, but it was fine, so smooth!!! and I LOVE the stereo! and again Sunroof! Had them both open and going! :)

Reno/Tahoe FUN!!!!

We are HOME! What a GREAT vaction we had!!
Reno was so HOT! and so fun for me and the kids!


Steve had to work! So he got us a room at the Grand Sierra Resort! what a PLACE! It had so much to do! Golf, go carts, bowling alley! (50 lanes) a movie theather a FABO pool outside!!!

and YES even a TV in our bathroom! (both hotels did!~! WHY I am not sure! :) ) Amanda informed us all she needs in her hotels now is a flat screen (also in our room- I think Steve loved that the most!) and a tv in the bathroom and she is set! WHAT is her daddy setting her poor husband up for in a LONG TIME of course! he is gonna spoil them good!!! :)












After Reno we were off to Tahoe for a few days! it was BEAUTIFUL there! I told Steve I could move there if it wasnt for the threat of FIRE every summer and the DEEP snow of winter! :)


We did so much fun stuff!!! We rode the gondola up to the top of the mountian, and back down, went to the beach~ rented a jet ski, and we also rented paddle boats both days at the beach!! We didnt sit at this cute little bar I took a photo of ~ BUT I did get a rum runner at the place right behind it (where the family photo is taken!)

We ate WAY to much! Had to go to the Hard Rock Cafe, and Cabo Wabo cantina~ NO Sammy Hagar darn it!!!

We did win some $$ YEAH! BUT of course gave most of it back! LOL!!

Now I have to work on the PILE of laundry! and come back to reality! DARN IT!!!!

Wrapped and Ready!

So I was going to make a pen- just wrapping some PP around it, tie some ribbon on it... but then I found this set of pens at Walgreens and the pink matched PERFECTLY! WHY mess with perfection! LOL! :)

So I just wrapped it all up with a little tag and it is ready to give! I think I need to make some more of these! and one for me! :)

Cards!

Not 100% sure if this is going to be the card set for my notecard holder... I wanted them all to match and SHOCKINGLY I dont have enough of the BG to do that! But it will be similar just a quick note card for the set!!!

Felt Notecard Holders!

Ok here is what my sweet Amanda and I have made today!
Felt notecard holders!! I am making mine for a friend, hers if for her brother! (AHHH!!) I am going to make notecards for mine, and I am going to buzz REAL QUICK to the dollar store and get pens to make a matching one ~ these I will share later!

But for now here is how we made these little cuties! (easy as pie! and kid friendly too!!)



#1- Measure your felt to the size you want the holder to be!
















#2-Fold pocket to size you need!

#3 Stictch sides with machine or by hand!
(Amanda's first time sewing! With my help!)



#4 Embellish anyway you like!!
We used primas, buttons, Love Elsie ribbon, and bling! and I stamped the name and outlined it!

#5 Add notecards! (which I will do soon!)

INSPIRATION!

So here is what we used today for our creations! Some felt, some flowers, and some buttons! What more do you need for inspiration? How about one very willing 7 year old helper! Who had her OWN idea of a creation~ which is drying as I type ~ but I will share it!! :)

Port Ludlow!

Port Ludlow ~ GETAWAY weekend!

We went to Port Ludlow on the boat last weekend and had a GREAT time!! We love going over there it is so peaceful! The kids played on the beach ALOT! and we hung out on the boat!

There was a wedding that night we arrived, so we sat on the back of the boat and listened to their reception music.. it was GOOD!! Made me want to dance! Which Amanda and I did! :)

Sunday I snuck over to where they still had the chairs set up and got that cute photo of the kids in the chairs over looking the Marina!!!
