Friday Favs! :)

Happy FRIDAY!!! This week went soooo fast.. we were so busy.. and sadly it doesnt end until school starts.. Sept. 9th...then we slow down! :) I THINK!!!

Here are my favs for the week!!!

#1- HEARING these words.. Mom will you take our picture.. HELLOOOO YES I WILL! :)

















#2- A NEW recipe! (found HERE) Blueberry Crisp! YUM! I used all blueberries.. but think it would be just as good with all THREE berries! :)
















#3- LUNCH out with Justin! We went to Chucks Seafood Grotto.. we love going there and sitting out in the sunshine!!! :)





















#4- PHOTOS while walking around Snohomish.. after that lunch with Justin! We had a GREAT afternoon.. pretended to be tourist.. I snapped LOTS of photos.. looked in the cute little stores.. good times! :)





















#5- INSPIRATION! This week is from PTI blog group member Cheryl! (Happy Anniversary!)
I LOVE how on THIS card she used punches instead of buttons... here is my card!





















and I PROMISE to make a DIFFERENT style card next week! HA HA! I seem to be stuck on this style...least they are all different! LOL!!!

Tomorrow we are going for a little boating trip.. I can hardly wait!! Good Times!!

My NEWEST Addiction, Colored Ribbon and a Challenge

Happy Thursday!! :) Where has this week gone?? We are down to the final few days of summer vacation... so every day has something in it... gonna go FAST!!!

I found some time this week to do a Challenge my friend Mara issued at SPCC a fun color challenge blog I have YET to play at .. but do peek in and see the goodness that is shared! This fall I am playing their challenges.. (HOPEFULLY! LOL!) anyway! Maras finally friday challenge use a fancy edge border.. HELLOOO I LOVE those! I seem to use them on EVERY CARD!

So here are 2 I created... I made 3.. but I gotta work on the 3rd.. it doesnt FEEL right.. I hate when that happens! :)

As for my ADDICTION... this size card (3.25 inch X 5.50 inches).. I LOVE it.. fits in a reg. envie you buy for what $1 at Walmart for 50! HA HA!! :) and see the ribbon on the one card.. the yellow.. colored with my copic to match.. LOVE those copics! So that ribbon color is PTI fresh snow WHITE.. colored with copic Y21... :) Fun stuff... and it looks like the ribbon was supposed to be that color!! Cant even tell.. I need more white ribbon!


OK CARDS Honest! :)




















Ohhh and see that red edged circle.. THAT was one of the ones I cut a couple weeks ago to have a stock pile READY when I needed them! :) that is all I have used.. BUT it is nice to know they are there when I am ready! ;)

Stamps are my NEW autumn abundance from PTI PP from my NEW cosmo cricket mini deck! OH sooo CUTE!- I want another! :) Ribbon PTI.. Die from Spellbinders.. copics....

Ok I think that is all I got today.. tomorrow is FRIDAY!!! We are gonna take out the boat saturday... for an over nighter.. sooo cant wait!!! :)

PTI Blog Hop!!

It is that time of the month again!! :) PTI's super FUN and INSPIRING... Blog Hop!!
















This month the theme was FALL!! :) Oh I love that time of year!!! I had a VISION of a pumpkin.. and I used one of Laurens FABULOUS templates to make it! This is done using the Pretty Petal Pocket





















I cut 3 center ovals instead of just one to make the pumpkin shape! Stamped it with versamark dazzle using polka dots basics Added some stitching, a tag from the new Autumn Tags Set and it is done! :)

I also LOVED Michelles super cute notebook idea so I made myself ANOTHER fall one! :) and a matching pen!





















Used the New Fall Elegance stamp set and the new Autumn Abundance PP

Here it is all together! :) I added some candy, and bubble bath.. with STILL room to spare! :)

Friday Favs!

Happy FRIDAY!!! So cant believe another weekend is upon us.. this week we were sooo BUSY.. and it still isnt done! :) Have another FUN FULL weekend! :)

Gonna do a fast friday favs.. then get back to my cleaning! I had NO time to create this week.. sigh.. but next week is open.. so I HOPE to get a few things done.. then I get to CLEAN again.. my auntie and cousin are coming up! YEAH! :)

#1.. FAMILY!! Last weekend was spent having some family FUN! :)













































#2- Blast from the PAST.. oh my!! Steves uncle (who we saw last saturday!) sent me these from the last time we got to visit with them in 2000.. SIGH... looky my Justin and Amanda....













#3 BLUEBERRIES!! Yum-O.. the kiddos and I picked 11.9 pounds the other day.. so cant WAIT for the cobbler this weekend! :)
















#4- INSPIRATION!! So I LOVE being in our PTI blog group.. the girls ALWAYS inspire..so I have decided to take one or 2 posts each week to share with YOU how they inspired me! I am going in alphabetical order.. so up first Belinda! Her cards are always BEAUTIFUL! I LOVE on THIS card how she used the black paper.. I never seem to do this.. and I think it looks LOVELY!! Here is my take on using black! :)





















I LOVE that PP on the background.. I bought it at Jo-Anns.. it is so PRETTY.. has a slight shimmer to it.> I believe it is called Luxe.. I got the 4 X 6 pad.. LOVE those!

I used my clear embossing powder on the polka dots on this card.. I LOVE that look.. alot of the PTI girls have been doing it.. so I had to do it too! HA HA!

Happy Thursday.. holy smokes where did that week go!! We have been SWAMPED here at the Johnson house.. not slowing down til monday... trying to get EVERYTHING in before school starts in about 2 weeks!!!

Happy Tuesday!! Well it is all done.. what is IT.. you ask!! The bunk bed Steve and Amanda made for her AG dolls! Oh I think they did a FABULOUS job!!! LOVE the color.. she ADORES it... She made the bedding herself.. all the new sew idea she saw on you tube... I did make the white padding.. that was all I got to do! This was hers and Daddys project... :) Thought I would share that with ya today.. AND of course you all know how I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Everyday Button Bits stamps for PTI... well even the AG dolls do too! :)

Ok on with the shares... here is the bed.. both AG girls all cozy in it!!! (I have a photo of Amanda and Steve with the bed but the color is HORRIBLE.. need to fix that! LOL!!)]




















Here is a close up of the bedding Amanda picked out and made! She just LOVES to create.. and she is only NINE.. My creative girl!!! sigh....













And finally... this is my first no sew pillow Amanda showed me how to make! ;) and of course I wanted to add something to it.. I did let her give it to one of her AG dolls! ;) The shirt is again using the stamp set... and all PTI buttons.. Amanda said that Marie (the ag doll!) wanted a shirt... hee hee! and she wanted the tree stamp.. Ok you got it!!! :)





















That is all I have for today!! :) Now I have to say THIS... if you LOVE Halloween!! hee hee! you should go take a peek at the SNEAK PEEKS on Nicoles Blog oh my!!! she has creative clicks at the bottom of them.. there are lots of fun sneaky peeks too!!! I am in BIG TROUBLE with this release... BIG TROUBLE!!! ha ha! To much fun stuff!!!

Happy Saturday!!! WOWY 2 posts in 2 days.. I am on a roll!! LOL!! :)
Just a quick share tonite... I got THIS super cute idea from Michelles blog!

When I saw the idea I had to run right down to staples to get some of these note pads..They cut them in half.. and I was ready to go! :) While the boys went to see the Seahawks practice.. Amanda and I had CRAFT NIGHT!!! We made no sew pillows, and these notebooks and matching pens! :) (sorry about the photo not to great of lighting tonite!!!)






















Amanda wanted to use teapots... so that is what we girls did! I got to use my PTI tea stamp set.. and she used my new BG tea pot set! Of course BG Lemonade (LOVE this line!!) PTI cardstock for the cover! :)

At this moment... Amanda is out with Daddy making a bunk bed for her AG dolls.. she wont let us go out and look at it... BUT it should be done tomorrow! So I will share photos then!!

Friday Favs!! (LONG winded post warning!)

Happy FRIDAY!!!! :) Hope you had a GREAT week!! I tell ya our weather has been CRAZY.. last week in the 100's... we broke records.. it hit 103 I believe.. in fact las thur. was 101.. this thur was 61.. 40 degree LESS.. isnt that CRAZY! LOL!! but it has given me lots of time to CREATE! .. I mean CLEAN! ;)

ANYWAY... I did some prep work on creative goodies.. never done that before.. but I cut some new nestabilities...and circles.. so NOW the goal will be to get all the stamping/embellies done RIGHT within 2 tries! HA HA!! Hoping to PLAY tonite!!

Ok on with the friday favs..

#1- Us Time!!! (aka DATE NIGHT!!) Love that.. dont get them very often but enjoy the ones we do! (THANKS MOM/TUTU for watching the kiddos for us!) Last weekend was the Kenny Chesney concert.. so #1 here has LOTS of photos.. I put them in slide show.. just a few of the OVER 100 I took! :) THANKS for peeking at them! Looky the mohawk guy... GRRRR came in and ruined my view! BUT I did survive.. luckily Kenny moves alot so I was able to see and get photos! :)

#2-Cousin Time!!! Last friday we went to the fair where I grew up and the kiddos got to enjoy it with Buggy!! LOVE when they get to have some FUN time together!





















#3- Jam Time!!! :) The kiddos and I made blackberry jam this week! YUMMY!!! On a side note.. I gotta find MORE of these cute jars.. I only bought one set last year.. WHY! Now I want more and cant find them! the search is on! :)





















#4- Cookie Time!!! Oh I tried THIS recipe that Lauren Meader shared on her blog!
WARNING... dont make them unless you REALLY want to eat them all.. they are FABULOUS!!! I did add pecans! YUM!


















#5- Stamp Time!!! I got to play a bit this week.. with the cooler weather! and you know I had to use my BG and PTI stamps.. and BUTTONS! of course! OH my .. I gotta hide these things from myself! LOL!!





















That is my favs for the week!!! I have a little something to share that my creative girl made.. BUT I want that to be in another post.. so she can have her own again! :) They are sooo CUTE.. that is all I am gonna say! ;)

CPS 127 Sketch Share!

Happy Tuesday!!! :) Our concert was FABULOUS!! I have LOTS of photos... I took over 100! ha ha! I wont share them all... but a few... I need to resize them and get them in a slide show to share! Will work on that! :)

This is Amandas card she made up! the image is a digi stamp I got from All That Scraps! I LOVE she is digital.. takes up NO ROOM in my creative space.. and I can resize them however I want!!
She doesnt have a mouth.. so Amanda thought she needed one and added it! :) She looks GREAT with that smile!! :)
