Happy Friday! Happy snow WEEK!!! if your my kiddos!! Oh my we have had snow this whole week.. it seems to be raining now! I am HAPPY! A week of snow is SIX days to many for me! HA HA!!!

BIG post today.. snow photos.. something Yummy and something Creative! :) I have a HUGE pinterest foodie post..but will save that for another time! :)

BUT I did find a BRIGHT spot... SNOW ICE CREAM! UM YUM! it really was good.. I did double the vanilla.. I would probably add more! (hopefully next year.. not this year! HA!)

Finally a Birthday Card share!! Our sweet neighbor turned 16 this week!! Here is the card I made her! Hopefully she will like it!! :)
The frame is all GLITTERY and PURTY!! Used a cupcake my girly made me.. added some mod podge and glitter!! Little Felt Flower.. I am so LOVING using Tulle on everything these days.. so I added one of my favorites.. some stitching and a some stamping and VIOLA! Sweet 16 Card!! :)

Just the 3 of Us!!

Happy MLK day.. Happy SNOWY day if your us.. and I am sure a few other places! :) The kiddos are so EXCITED for the snow.. me not so much! I got my snow photos now I am READY for SPRING! LOL!! :)

So I got this FABULOUS idea from Renee .. LOVED it so much I asked some friends to join and they said YES! SOOOO... our first just the 3 of us share is here! (and YES I am SORRY I am a day late.. bad hostess that I am!! I wont be next month! HONEST!)

Happy January! I hope your New Year is off to a GREAT start!!

One of my goals this year was to create MORE! and enter even more challenges! and start using things I BUY! IMAGINE that! :)

Here is a card I whipped up... using my Winter Woodland Cricut Cart (big snowflake behind image), and of course my favorite from Accent Essentials for the center snowflake! Got that CUTE snowman just the other day from MelJen designs!! (ok so that is new.. but everything else I had!) that blue bling is probably 5 years old! YEAH! using it! HA HA! :)

I LOVE to see the postings of peoples favorites from the previous year... I was just looking at my posting this was my lowest postings in 4 years.. BUT with all that went on this summer.. I didnt post much.. THAT will change this year!!!

Most of my favorites seem to be boxes I have made!!

#1 I LOVED this technique from PTIs MIM! Was EXCITED to be their daily pick..

#2 and #3 Mothers Day Card and Tulip Gift Box! I just still LOVE that ribbon and the picks.. and tiny tags.. oh my!!

#4- I whipped up these gift card holders.. I just LOVE the big tulle bow and sparkly tags!!
Now a run on captured card cases! (they are my FAVORITE you know! LOL!)

#5 This one I created for my Mom for Xmas! It was one of my very favorites.. it was one I didnt want to give away! BUT I love my mom so I did! :)
#6 and #7 LOVE making these big loopy bows.. inspired by PTIs die.. I made these without it.. Love how they turned out!

#8 Made up this captured card case in a smaller version and matching card!

#9 and #10 are my kiddos birthday cards! I love how they turned out this year!

#11 This was a blog hop project, I LOVE PTIs timeless templates so much... and the ribbon flower.. I have more upstairs to use.. I should!!

Wanted to wish you all a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR! THANK YOU for your visits! I have met some of the most AMAZING friends from this blog/internet!! I treasure those friendships.. You all INSPIRE me!! and I am looking forward to MORE FUN in 2012!!!!

Now I have a SHAMELESS PLUG!! My 15 year old son has been making movies 3 or 4 years now! Here is his latest.. he wrote it, directed it, produced it, acted in it! Along with his Dad and Sister! I am so PROUD of him.. of THEM all! :) If you have time.. would you PLEASE watch it.. his goal is to hit 100 views on his movie before the end of the year!!! It is only 6 minutes!

Treats, A Box, Tags, and More Tags!

Happy LAST Wednesday of 2011!! :) This year has FLOWN for me..I think I say this every year.. and each year I mean it MORE then the last! :) I hope you all had a FABULOUS holiday!!! We sure did!!!!

I have a few more Holiday things to share with you! THANKS if you make it all the way through!! Wanted to get all Xmas shared! :)

This year I cut way back on treats.. 1 because I eat them... 2 because I eat them! LOL!! BUT I did add a new cookie to the mix.. it was DELISH.. found it on pinterest.. (love that place!) They are White Chocolate Chip Candy Cane Cookies! YUMMY! I did mine a bit different I added some melted white choc. on top.. then added more candy cane (I LOVE candy cane! ) Then our usual... dipped pretzels, pretzel turtles , peppermint bark.. and red velvet candy cane cake balls!
I have one more captured card case to share with ya!! Made this for my Amanda and 1 for her good friend Lauren! I whipped up one of those bows I am in LOVE with again! :)

Happy Holiday Blog Friends!! Can you BELIEVE how close it is!! Are you ready?? I ALMOST am.. I think I say this each posting! :) BUT really I think I am.. today we will wrap wrap wrap... and I want to make some special tags! and then the baking begins..I have to wait til this week or else I just eat it! :)

WARNING LOTS of PHOTOS to follow.. you were just given fair warning! :)

So I thought I would share with you today the kiddos teacher gifts!!

I made these CUTE bag in a box treats after being inspired by my friend Mara- I did them ALMOST the same.. I just did my box a bit different I have bad luck with folding so I just cut the ends and folded them up.. otherwise all the same!
Here is inside.. there is alot of space in these little cuties! We put in candy, a card and gift card, with room to spare! :)
Next up.. a captured card case (how I LOVE this template!) I LOVED the new die also from PTI.. but wanted to do a BIG version AND make it before it was even released so I set to work to whip up my own.. BIG loopy bow!! I really LOVE how it came out.. and will/did :) make it again! This one is for Amandas Teacher-

Lastly for Amanda we sent these cuties I saw on Pinterest! it was the LAST Christmas treat I will ever make for a grade school class.. BOOO!!!! Next year she is on to Middle School!
and FINALLY!!!

Here are the gift card holders I whipped up for Justins teachers... he doesnt like girly.. I may have pushed the envelope on this one.. BUT there is NOOOO BLING, or SPARKLE.. so to me that is safely non girly! :) He was so worried he would be the only one in class giving a gift.. so he went in early AND in the end didnt get them all out before BUT others gave gifts so he was ok! :) again MAMA was right.. I told him many times dont worry! ;)

Happy Monday!! Are you all READY for Christmas?? I will be DONE tomorrow! YEAH! Now to wrap! Crazy to think in 2 weeks it will be the DAY after Christmas!

Alrighty on to why I am posting!! I have a birthday box and card to share and some Pinterest goodies I made up! ;)

First up I made this up for my neighbors birthday!! Shrunk the captured card case from PTI to 60% to make it perfect size for a gift card!!! Whipped up a matching card and Viola a fun little birthday set! ;)

Wanted to share some goodies I made up last week from Pinterest! First up was this YUMMY! and I mean YUMMY .. Candy Cane Popcorn. The only thing I did different was use white choc. chips! It VANISHED FAST! :)
Next up I made this dip.. it was DELISH and also didnt last long!! I combined 2 dips-
Olive Garden Smoked Mozz. Dip (DID NOT use smoked cheeses in mine!) And Hot Caprese Dip!
What I did for this was use Sour Cream, Shredded Mozz. provolone, and Parm. Cheese.. added garlic, ital. seasoning, chopped tomato's and basil.. it was so GOOD!!!

That is all I have.. gonna wrap some more gifts! Amanda has been such a BIG help!!

Waltzing Mouse... WALTZ!

I am so EXCITED to be able to join the WM Stamps Waltz this month.. it has been MONTHS! and I have MISSED it!!!

So first off before I get any farther.. I have to THANK very very much Renee! I had ordered the NEW 2011 Holiday Ornament Set last week.. I had made a comment I hope they arrived in time for the waltz... well Renee so KINDLY offered to send me some cut just in case! They arrived in time for me to finish TODAY! Now she sent me so many plus some BEAUTIFUL ribbon.. if our mail didnt get here so late I would have used more.. but no worries I will use it all up this season!!

Ok on with the projects.. FIRST off... EXCUSE the photos.. I had to take them inside since it was dark out when I finished! For this first one I was INSPIRED by the FABULOUS Melissa Phillips goodie she created HERE!

I cant share what will be inside since it is a holiday gift for someone very SPECIAL to me! BUT after it is opened I will!!
I spray painted and glittered the tin... then added lace, my tag, a stick pin (you cant see SORRY!) lovely ribbon from Renee, and snowflake center!

Next up.. I HAD to use the LOVELY red goodies Renee sent.. and as I do every year I plan to make up LOTS of tags.. so I decided to whip one up!!

Now before you go.. a peek at the TREASURES I got today .. and after my day.. I TOTALLY needed it! :) LOVE happy mail.. LOVE this hobby that has such generous kind people!!

Happy Halloween Blog Friends!! I hope you are sitting down.. I have a HUGE post to share with you today!! :) I will go fast.. hardly any chit chat.. WAIT.. is that possible! LOL!!

On with the post-
First up.. some quick cards I made for the kiddos! I LOVE this cute line by Doodlebug! (Monster Mania! so CUTE!)
I made up these YUMMY Pumpkin Pecan Brownies and used a homemade Cinnamon Butter Cream Frosting- they were DELISH! I did add white choc. chips to the brownies! Will make these AGAIN! :)
Whipped up this card for friends! I am LOVING this digi image from Madebyjanet (I KNOW you all know this by now how much I LOVE her stuff.. but I gotta say it again... I LOVE her stuff! LOL!)

Happy Sunday!! It is time for a PIO share! Our theme this week is Keep Warm!!

Thought I would use the cute digi and make up a cute cocoa packet gifty! I had seen on pinterest to make your own wax paper bags.. SOOOO I gave it a try.. the idea showed it stitched.. WELL my sewing machine is being WONKY! So I used my scor-tape on the side and bottom.. fast and easy AND the size I wanted! I WILL be making more! :)

Ok WHERE has Oct. gone?? I just blinked and now it has almost vanished!! Trying to catch up but it isnt happening! LOL!!

Lots going on since our vacation! Kiddos both had conferences both are doing FABULOUS! I am oh oh SO PROUD of them!!! Went and got our pumpkins at a new patch (new to us anyway) it was so CUTE.. I WISH the kids were about 8 years younger... but they had fun.. the TEEN was a GOOD sport and did everything so me Mom could get her photos! :) I so want to SCRAP them but FIRST I must get my halloween goodies DONE! YES I am behind! :)

Ok enough chit chat.. on to some shares.. I will have more to share once I know Halloween Cards are received! Til then.. a few goodies I can share! :)

You all know the AMAZING Melissa Phillips! Well anything she uses I seem to WANT! She has been using digi goodies from MadebyJanet... I have been buying and using them too.. I LOVE her BEAUTIFUL vintage goodies! I also got the circles from lovecreationgal thought they were cute!
This is some pumpkin mini choc. chip pecan bread I made.. AND some cinnamon honey butter for my Mama!

Last friday was my bunco.. thought I would share some of the yummies I made up!! 2 were from Pinterest.. and one I make every year!
Lets start with PINTEREST goodies! (I am ADDICTED to that place I tell ya!)
Autumn Chop Salad- it was FANTASTIC! (Had it for left overs to! :) )
Next up Monster Munch (am making this again tonite for Justin to take to his friends Halloween Party!) It is so ADDICTING! YUM! **I did add M & Ms and used white choc. chips for melting! **
Finally these little beauties.. I make them every year.. We LOVE them here at the Johnson House!! :) Black Bottomed Mini Caramel Pumpkin Cheesecakes! YUMMY!! Double that YUMMY! :)
This weekend there are parties.. and HOBBY LOBBY is opening! I have to work on my PIO challenge! and we must CARVE these babies! We got 13 including pumpkins and gourds.. cant wait to see what my TALENTED family does with them!

Here I am Blog Friends! Did you miss me?? I was off on a FABULOUS, FUN FILLED DISNEYLAND Vacation with my SWEET FAMILY.. also joined my my EQUALLY SWEET Brother, Sissy inlaw and Niece.. we had a FANTASTIC time!! The weather was FANTASTIC! and so were the MEMORIES!!!

As I am unpacking and putting everything away .. hoping to find creative time I thought I would share some photos with you from the trip! I took 100's.. but will share just a few.. I want you to make it through the whole post!!

We have never been in Oct. I have always wanted to go see it all festive.. it was so CUTE! We went to Mickeys Halloween Party on Friday night! TO FUN! We only missed out on 1 ride we wanted to ride.. the new Toy Story ride.. the wait never dropped from 45 minutes.. next time!

Happpy (GULP!) October! Um... how did THAT happen?!!! How come the older you get the FASTER time seems to fly...and hello my kids.. I know they are growing up FASTER then I did! :) Ok back to business! :) I know your not here to hear my slowing down time ideas! ;)

My dear sweet cousin got married on Sept. 10th (our anniversary and YES I am BEHIND in things!) BUT I figure it was still all clean ingredients so it couldnt be to bad right! :) Will make it AGAIN! :) and I did save some for Justin.. because he said MOM.. that smells GREAT.. save me some! :) and anytime my kids want to eat spinach anything.. I am SAVING some! :)

Dearest Blog Friends.. I AM STILL HERE>.....
It has been a CRAZY couple weeks... we went on vacation.. had a GREAT time.. home to get everything under control only to have...
me run my cell phone through the washing machine.. got a new one...

our boat break down twice on trips with friends/family...almost fixed!

and then my Tri-Athlete AMAZINGLY in shape.. mom to need open heart surgery... so for the last week I have been running up and down 1-5 to be with her..She went home yesterday... I will still be helping her...

THEN our computer is being NAUGHTY so I have only Steves laptop.. (HOPING he can save it.. I have stuff NOT backed up.. NOT GOOD! wahhhh)

So I have no photos to share.. no time to edit.. no craftyness to share.. NO time to create.. but wanted you to know I am here... I have been trying to catch up on blogs .. but was on his work lap top so I couldnt leave LOVE... I will be BACK.... even if it is from a new computer.. but I HOPE it isnt.. I have so much stuff on my other...

I have to say I LOVE how it turned out.. and will be making MORE! :) I just cut 4 circles sized 1 1/4 up to 2 inches.. then added score tape along the outside (I tried my Xxyron but it wasnt strong enough) then wrapped the ribbon... added each circle on top of each other.. topped it off with one of the buttons I made with digi paper and my dies!
Here is what I made up - I just LOVE templates.. and this time I decided to whip up PTIs Take Along Tote- It was so QUICK and EASY! (dont ya LOVE that!)
Used my new stamps, and dies from PTI! and of course spellbinders dies... I really liked Heathers example in the idea book you get when you buy these.. she put the pockets inside the box, so I did that too.. it isnt filled yet.. but here is a photo so you can see them!

Teacher Appreciation Treats Share!

HAPPY FRIDAY!!!! It has been one BUSY BUSY week for me! Crafty wise! Really it has been a BUSY 5 weeks for me Crafty wise.. wanna see!
I have made in the last 5/6 weeks between Birthday Invites, Thank Yous, Easter, Moms Day, Birthday, and Teacher Appreciation Week-

and my house has the MESS to prove it! I sat down today to figure it all out.. .and went WOW! No wonder I felt behind for awhile! HA HA!!

ANYWAY (LONG POST AHEAD.. you are warned! LOL!)... This week our school was having teacher appreciation WEEK! so each day we took in something to the teacher.. and 3 days we took in things to the recess teachers and then today we added 3 more to the loop.. just to Thank them! Thought I would share our week with ya!

Gonna start with todays since I am entering it in some challenges!!
This template is from Perfect Presentation (Bag It Up used SVG file!) Seriously a FUN EASY template.. I had to make 8 of them.. after getting my stuff all cut and ready.. it took me about 2 hours to get them all together.. Not bad at all! (considering I have template that take 2 hours (PLUS) for one! LOL)
Anyway.. used my spellbinders, PTI, bling and some inking.. and it was ready to go!

Ok here come the rest.. one day was flowers.. I forgot to get a photo of all of them.. but we put them in vases and added a fun tag!
One day was candy day! So Amanda made up these cute tags.. for the treats!
One day was bring in Post-It Notes.. I figured she would get ALOT.. so Amanda and I decided to make up one she could keep on her desk! (The teachers favorite color is red.. so Amanda picked this combo out!)
Then one day was school supply day.. I didnt take a photo of the pencil top erasers and kleenex she asked for! LOL!

Here are the cards Amanda made up for the recess teachers, and some friends.. she had to make 7.. but used these 2 cute flowers for them!

Now if your wondering what is inside.. (some had candy.. some did not since it was candy day earlier.. but here is one with it!) I used my SCAL to cut them all .. shrank it down.. I think 4 clicks.. wanted it to fit on 1 8.5 X 11 sheet... still holds ALOT! Candy, Lotion, Gift Card, and Amandas card to them!

Next I have to share this FUN jar idea I saw last week on Michelles Blog (HERE are the directions!).. so I THOUGHT I was done and ready for Easter.. but NOOO after I saw this I had to create it! :) I didnt have the wide mouth jar.. so I used the narrow.. it all fit but 2 peeps.. we just put them on the side! (the neighbors didnt mind! LOL!)

For that little peep in the jar... all I did was google search Peep coloring pages .. and I was able to save one.. and cut it down to just the bunny peep! I LOVE that PP it was from the PEEP line by We R Memory Keepers.. I LOADED it up with glimmer mist.. it is all sparkley .. hard to tell in the photo!!!

Whatever you wish!! :) Easy Peasy..and LOTS of colors to use.. I prefer the white sparkles so they are easier to print on, and stamp on!

Happy Friday Blog Friends! and a BIG Happy HAPPY 11th BIRTHDAY to our SWEET AMANDA! (I can NOT believe 11 years have come and gone SOOOOO QUICKLY!!!)

Thought I would share a quick photo... see those balloons.. I bought them LAST Saturday for her party.. I paid $1.44 to have the long life stuff added.. I never thought it would mean SIX days.. really they look like I got them today! Only 1 is down.. he isnt in the photo! :)

Thought I would share her birthday card... When I saw this CUTIE pie at All That Scraps I KNEW I had to have her for my girls card.. Amanda made the CUTE cupcake on the bow (she was excited I used it on her card!) she is so good about making them for me.. I wanted her to have one too! :)

This is her birthday card from her brother.. I make them make cards for each other for holidays and birthdays.. I LOVE to see what they create.. LOVE that even as a teen BOY he knows what she likes.. CUPCAKES! :) he wrote her the sweetest things too! I am a LUCKY LUCKY mom to have them both!!

Happy FRIDAY! Oh my I am EXCITED for the weekend! My week just flew by! LOTS to do.. so I could have used an extra day or 2 this week! LOL!!

Gonna get right down to biz. today! :) Did you see Melissa post.. TODAY! Be still my really starting to LOVE VINTAGE HEART!! :) Well I HAD to do some shopping from the link she shared..
Made by Janet. I got the 6 item special.. what a sweetheart she is.. she got them right to me this AM.. and I printed up 4 of the 6 sheets.. I just ADORE them! So this AM.. I whipped these up for my Grandmas Easter Treat.. I needed a little tag for the basket... this I think was perfect...
All I had to do was cut, ink, and add the ribbon and rose.. FUN FAST and EASY! I think my grandma will LOVE that sweet egg! :)

Next up is not a creative share.. crafty but not creative.. I am TRYING to get my craft room in order.. those that know me and have seen it are probably LOLing right now! It is BAD! I need to PURGE, ORGANIZE, and STOP SHOPPING! (that wont happen.. but a HUBBY can dream! HA HA!) anyway.. I used my birthday gift cards from Michaels.. and got some of those GREAT cube organizer things.. all my PTI will be in the 4 drawer one.. then I got this style with 1 drawer and 16 compartments in it.. and a shelf.. WELL I decided to use it for my PTI dies.. I LOVE it.. there is room for LOTS of growth! :) AND room to cut some dies and just have them ready.. I laid my long dies and impression plates on top of the empty cubes.. with them empty it works fine.. I LOVE them all in one spot.. the drawer comes right out so I can have them all near me! :)
I really like how Nicole had hers shared HERE.. BUT I am REALLY working on using what I have.. and so I did them up like this! The labels I just printed from the file share Nicole posted!

So I am SWAMPED today.. tomorrow we celebrate my sweet girls birthday(her official day is 22nd.. but cant party Easter Weekend..well we could.. but arent! LOL!).. I have LOTS to get done! Hope you all have a FANTASTIC weekend! THANKS for stopping by!

Happy Tuesday... aka day 4 of no Alarms... and the kids are already BORED! HA HA!! :) It was nothing but RAIN yesterday so we didnt do much... today hoping they can at least get out side! I need to WALK! (they can ride!:)

I have a card to share with ya... I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Friendship Jar, and Fillers Sets.. from PTI... NOT that I have used them much.. but oh the ideas I have!! :) My Mom had to have surgery on both knees (LOVE YOU MOM!) and the kiddos and I went to visit her and take her to lunch... I had to give her a card with her flowers... I knew what I wanted to do.. those FABULOUS tulips in the Spring Set!! So this is what I came up with.. it isnt overly embellished... but sometimes I think the card just stands alone.. and to me those tulips just stand alone.. in all their beauty... (Ok I LOVE tulips that could be why I say those things! HA HA!)

Birthday Shares!

Happy Tuesday!! :) Today I am gonna share a few photos of the FABULOUS birthday weekend I had!! :)

The kiddos and I met Steve in Seattle on Friday night.. we stayed at the Westin.. had dinner at Benihanas, went to Gameworks (for the kiddos..) then Saturday we got up.. went to Pike Place Market, out to Hard Rock Cafe for lunch... had cupcakes at Yellow Leaf Cupcake~ then home... later that night we went to the Totem Falls School Auction! Had a BLAST!!! Sunday went shopping with my Auntie Nancy and Amanda.. then out to Red Robin where some more family met up with us! It was a FABULOUS weekend.. I think today I am finally not feeling FULL! LOL!!!

Today is our friends sons birthday! (Happy Birthday Brandon!) I whipped him up a quick card last night!! I really like how it turned out.. took all of 25 minutes.. WHY cant they all be like that! LOL! I am gonna use this again.. I LOVE these PTI stamps and dies.. and cuttlebug embossing folders.. fun, fast and easy!!!
Off to wait for an estimate on our bookcases.. that is my gift from Steve.. YEAH!! Cant wait have wanted them on either side of our fireplace since we bought the house 8 years ago!! :)

Happy Wednesday! Hope your having a GREAT week!! Ours has been FULL of crazy weather.. I am just READY for some sun and springy weather! :) we got some today.. about about 10 minute intervals! HA! Sun, Rain, Wind, Sun, Rain.. repeat.. all day .. the last few days.. BUT at least it isnt SNOW! :)

So I have been doing some crafty prep work! I have decided instead of just sitting in front of the TV.. I am gonna cut things.. so last week I cut TONS of felt.. this week.. CUTE buttons, and tags...

I made up this card using some of the Be Mine Digi Set by Echo Park from Jessica Sprague site.. they are ON SALE for only a $1 today.. ends tonite at midnite.. they are FABULOUS! Here is a link to the 2 that are on sale ~ Be Mine Papers and Be Mine Elements #1

I print MOST of my digi stuff on paper I have glimmer misted... it is hard to tell but IRL it is so shiny!! LOVE IT!
Here are my buttons- I will be using them OFTEN!
here is just a few of the sheets I printed.. do you see the frame in the card.. it is below on the paper.. it is supposed to really have the post card in the center.. BUT I didnt want to do that..so I just pasted the cute PP over it.. and added the post mark, and xoxo tag! :) Fun fast and easy!

Happy Friday Blog Friends!!! Hope your having a GREAT week!!!

I have a little share for you today... not really my style.. BUT when I saw this Circa 1934 I just had to HAVE it! :) I LOVED the color combo!! It matches PERFECTLY with PTIs Pure Poppy and Ocean Tides.. So I had to make up a FUN felt flower!!!

Enough chatter! :) here she is ...
Here is a close up of the flower.. for the center I used my PTI button set... LOVE it! Used UTEE on it.. FABULOUS! Cant even tell it is made of chipboard! it look so REAL!!!

Vintage FOAM Buttons- Gift Card Holder

Ok so this was NOT on my todo list.. I NEED to make some birthday cards.. but do you ever have times when something POPS into your head and you MUST create it to get it out! LOL! That happened just this AM! I was NOT going to play along this week with PTIs Make It Monday Challenge #4.. but then this idea snuck in.. and wouldnt leave! So I WHIPPED it up.. and now am off to work on birthday cards! :)

Thought it would be FUN to make a VINTAGEY gift card holder! Wouldnt a fabric store gift card be PERFECT in it!! :) ANYWAY.. wanted it to feel like you found this little treasure tucked in your grandmas sewing supplies! :) Used foam for the bottom button! Inked them up REAL GOOD! :) added a PTI button and some twine!

Happy March!!! I can not BELIEVE how fast the year seems to be going already... But I must say I am READY for some SPRING weather.. ready to see flowers blooming.. days that the daylite last LONGER!! Oh my! HURRY Spring.. HURRY! :) I know be PATIENT it will arrive!!
(AFTER typing all this.. I look out to see it SNOWING... NOOOOO more snow please.. Thank you!)

So since last week I saw SNOW.. a few days.. I decided that I would make my own SPRING! :) My aunties birthday was yesterday so I made her up a bright cheery birthday card!! :)

I LOVED how that flower turned out I made.. I have another one all ready to share.. sorta.. gotta get it on a project.. who knows maybe I will just have to share a photo! LOL!!

PTI Blog Hop!! Scallops!

Happy COLD FRIDAY!! Well if your near me.. it was 22 when I walked today! BRRRR!
You all know what today is right- (OH I told ya in the header! HA!)

So just lets get this out there.. I have a MILLION things to do today.. and guess what I did.. made something for the PTI blog hop! LOL!! Well I wanted to make something up for a friend anyway.. so why not get ahead of that.. WHY be ahead of the cleaning! :)

So our challenge this month was scallops! LOVE them!! :) I decided to alter a PTI clear box again! (I told ya before I am ADDICTED to doing this!) I will make a matching card.. BUT really wanted to get this up today and join the FUN!!

Here is what I made-An altered PTI clear box! GodBless CRICUT!! LOVE all the sizes I can make with it! Used it for EVERYTHING in the center circle.. that hat pin.. I just made up.. I so will be making MORE! FUN FAST AND EASY! gotta LOVE that! :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY....card shares!

Happy SNOWY Day Wednesday! Well if your us that is! LOL! Kiddos are gonna be so happy.. they have wanted a full snow day!! I HOPE it is our only one! :) (just sayin.. they think DIFFERENTLY about snow then I do! :) after photos today I am DONE with it!! HA HA!)

Ok on to some shares... I needed 2 birthday cards last week.. 1 for a girl.. 1 for a boy.. so I came up with these 2.. similar in LO... but still different.. Used my PTI dies (tag, star, and numbers).. LOVE them... and embossing folders!! (LOVE them too! HA HA!) added sentiments, ribbons, buttons, and a glittery star I made and they were DONE! :)

Here they are .. I am guessing you can figure out which is the girl version.. and which is the boy version!! :)

As I was typing this my son said I HOPE we get 2 more feet of snow.. .so we have no school tomorrow.. didnt he SEE my posting at the top.. NO MORE! LOL!! :)

Happy Tuesday! Hope you all had a FANTASTIC Valentines Day! We sure did!!! I have to tell you I got the COOLEST thing from my hubby.. it is THIS! I never even asked for it.. and was so EXCITED to get it!!! I used it to take photos today of the kiddos cards to us.. I LOVE it.. it will be nice to be able to take photos at night now.. and have them look good!!

So todays FUN at PTI was to create something using the the FUN FUN Tags the super talented DT created!! They were so cute.. I cant wait to use them all! Today I have 2 things to share with ya!!

Ok here is what I created.. (sorry I like to talk! HA HA!)
Close up of the tag- I just LOVE the color combo of that circle tag.. and cant WAIT to use this on a gift! I made that silver star with my glitter.. it is so PURTY IRL! Hard to photograph!
Next is a card I made for my grandma.. been thinking about her... hoping she is doing ok! I seem to be LOVING adding flourishes to everything these days! LOTS of distressing, I wanted it to FEEL vintagey.. I colored the white lace with my distressing ink...and dark choc. PTI ink on the edges!

EVERYTHING!! (ok you get the idea! ;) ) Well it is their 4 year anniversary, and there is a FUN contest... Nicole asked us to share our favorite project from last year.. It was hard to pick... when you have such GREAT product.. you just LOVE them all... (ok maybe not! BUT.. pretty darn close! LOL!!) This is what I picked for my favorite project!

A Birthday and A Thank You Share!!

HELLLLOOO blog friends I am still here.. just been BUSY BUSY!!! My girly is getting braces in 2.5 weeks.. so we have been going to some ortho appts. for that, my Justin has been under the weather for the last week.. had to take him to the DR. (guess what it was.. all related to his cold.. just like MOM said! when will he listen! LOL!! ) I am behind on so many things so I am going to make this fast!!! and I PROMISE I am going to catch up on all my blog visits this weekend!! :)

Lets get to the shares! First up a little thank you card I whipped up.. I just ADORE that snowflake from accent essentials cricut cart... sigh....You cant see but IRL I sprayed it with glimmer mist to give it some shimmer!! :)

Perfect Presentation Share!

Happy FRIDAY!! hope you all had a GREAT week!!! Today is the Perfect Presentation DT share! How I LOVE Valentines Day.. and giving special surprises! I am using the SUPER CUTE Be Mine Template !! I LOVED this cute template Leigh Ann (Annie) designed..wont it be PERFECT for a Love Day SURPRISE!! and I also used Label Frame 2!

For mine I shrank it down a bit.. but it is still a GREAT size.. Plenty of room for SWEET TREATS! :) For the label I enlarged it a bit.. that is my FAVORITE part of templates and SCAL!! You can make them fit whatever you need! :) Stamped the whole template with versa mark, and my PTI heart background stamp.. added the trim, ribbon, bow, button, label frame and DONE! :)

Now GUESS WHAT!! The FABULOUS Leigh Ann said we can give away a FREE template to one LUCKY winner!! (winners choice!) How you ask.. EASY PEASY! Just leave a comment on my blog by midnite Sunday.. will draw a random winner from the comments- I will announce the winner on Monday!

Birthday Card Shares!

Happy Tuesday!! :) Hope your having a GREAT week so far! We are SUPPOSED to get snow.. oh my the kids are sure hoping for that.. and enough to have a snow day.. I will let them have one.. after that one snow day I say bring on SPRING and SUN! :) (a mom can dream right! LOL!)

Today I have some birthday shares for ya! :)

My sweet Amanda and I worked up this first share for one of her best buddies birthdays (say that 3 times fast!) last weekend!! It was so cute she said when she got it to open.. it is so cute I dont want to open it.. AHHH that made my day! :) (Amanda just waned her to open..she knew what was inside! LOL!)

The card was made (90% by Amanda) using one of my cricut carts... Sweet Treats, LOTS of sticles! :) I made up the little flower.. using punches, PTI felt, and button! Sentiment on card is also from PTI!

Next up is my SILs card.. I HOPE she got it!! LOOK AWAY if you didnt Kimmie! :) I wanted to do something a bit different... That was LOVELY, UNIQUE, and ELEGANT too.. just like HER! I came up with this....
You cant see on the card.. but is made using glimmer mist CS I sprayed.. I made up the snowflakes using an older cricut cart. Accent Essentials .. NEW star pin , lots of stitching, wrinkle ribbon I made up, silver ribbon, lots of inking!

I am STILL HERE! :) Happy New Year!! I hope you had a WONDERFUL holiday! We sure did! We headed off to our Hawaii trip on the 27th.. just got home at midnite monday/tuesday?! WOWY 2 posts in 2 days.. how does that happen.. you go 9 days.. then BAM back to back posting! AND it is closer to Xmas then 9 days ago! LOL!! I still have more to share.. BUT gonna keep it to a special birthday wish.. and some cards!!!

Today is 2 of my most FAVORITE peoples birthdays!! My HUBBY!!! and Our Niece!!! She turns 6.. and well my hubby is coming into the WONDERFUL world known as your 40s! (shhh dont tell him I told ya that!!! :) )

Here they are... (I made that eggnog rum cake for them... we celebrated them both , and Kimmie last weekend! at moms house!)

So in honor of Steve and Bug! (Allyson) I have some birthday cards to share!!

First up the Birthday Girls Card I made her-

SAD NEWS ALERT... I would have added the to you.. under Happy Birthday but GASP.. I LOST it in my creative space.. WAHHH... ok that is all the bad news for today.. will just email PTI and get it replaced.. along with 10 others I need! ;)

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!! I cant believe it has been 9 days since I popped in! I have been so busy over here!! TRYING to get things ready for the Holidays! :) Thought I would share some of the goodies we have made with ya!!

First up Amanda and I made up 29 snowman soups for her classmates for xmas! :)
Next we made up 5 of these little treat boxes for some SPECIAL ladies at her school!! Filled with candy and a gift card to starbucks..

Finally her teachers goodie.. Amanda decorated the bag (a little help from mom) and made the card.. whipped up the bookmark.. added some candy and a gift card to Borders and we were good to go! :)
I have some more goodies to share.. but will save them for another day.. I do have SAD NEWS... my SWEET BIG SHOT>>... BROKE! WAHHHHHHH I broke it working on packaging for my bunco gifts.. AND I forgot to take a photo of them.. sigh.. I dont think Santa will get my WISH in time.. SO I will have to replace that if hubby cant fix it.. I NEED my big shot! :)

Happy Monday!! Today I have my 12th day of xmas share for ya! I know a day late.... Was gonna share something else with you but was so INSPIRED by todays PTI group post.. I had to make up this little cutie.. this is a gift for ME! Sometimes we all need a treat this time of year!!

I wanted to make a little mini book to show our house decorated over the holidays.. I have no pages yet.. probably wont til the new year! BUT the book is ready for photos when I have time!

Happy Saturday Blog Friends! Are you all READY for the HOLIDAYS? We are ALMOST!! :)

SORRY I missed yesterday.. my hubby took the day off.. we got some shopping done... went to lunch... then home.. got the kiddos headed off to see Santa, have dinner, then as a SURPRISE Steve took us to the botanical gardens.. we have never been and the lights were FABULOUS!!! I hope w can go again next year! :)

I have a photo share from last night... I took probably 100! :) But here is one of us!! I had a little FUN with it at picnik! :)

Thought I would share some SNOWFLAKE fun.. I have been making these like crazy this year (just like last! ) I LOVE them.. it is one of my favorite shapes in Accent Essentials!

Ok first up.. I LOVE to alter ALOT of things.. and when I saw these frames at Walmart for $1.. I had BIG plans.. I grabbed a few.. to date I have altered TWO! :) But that is ok! ;) This one I made up for ME! I LOVED this photo of the kiddos.. and wanted to do something special with it! This is what I came up with...

Day 11- this is one of my FAVORITE dies.. from SU.. you can do so many FUN things with it.. today I made it into a little Xmas Thank You card.. ok not TODAY.. but last year! ;) You know what I mean... hmm I think I need to do a post on this die.. maybe I will! ;)

Day 9 Of the 12 Days of Xmas!

Happy Thursday!!! (almost FRIDAY! I am READY for the weekend!) So we are on Day 9 of our 12 Days of Xmas.. THANKS for visiting... Today I am sharing some TAGS with ya! I LOVE to make them.. I have BIG plans Monday.. gonna TAG the day away! LOL!

I have 2 to share today with ya!- ** EXCUSE the photos.. had to take them inside tonite!**
This first one... I stamped, added to the center of a MS small doily, (the image is on some glimmer mist paper I made up.. you can sorta see it in the photo!) Mounted the Doily on acetate, added the red ring, ribbon and star I made!

Next Tag- Used my PTI tag die, some Melissa Frances - Home for the Holidays, added another glitter star I made, santa image, stamped, ribbon and some pearls! :)

Day 8 of the 12 Days of Xmas!

Happy Holidays to You! :) This month is FLYING by for me! The good news.. just a couple more gifts to get and we are DONE! Gonna get on the wrapping game next! :)

So today is Day 8 of the 12 days of Xmas on the PTI forums! I had PLANNED to share something else with you.. BUT when I saw Michelles post today I HAD to change! :)

So I LOVED .. THIS recipe! So I had to make some up.. SEE-
I didnt use almond bark.. I had white choc. chips, and I used milk choc. chips for the top... added some sprinkles (red and green of course) and a bit of crushed candy cane on top..

I wanted to put it in something PURTY! So I grabbed from recycling a container that had had almonds in it! and went to work on altering it!! Now it is full of this yummy popcorn.. and since Xmas is a bit to far away for this to last.. gonna open it up and share it with the family.. never fear I will fill it again for a gift! :)

Today I was SWAMPED so bloggy friends I am gonna share a blast from the past.. tomorrow will have some FUN new stuff... Quick gift bags for today!!

I plan to make up more of these this year.. quick fun, and cute.. little bags.. Perfect size to fit a small gift in, some candy and a gift card! :) I got these at Michaels!

The snowflake one I ran through my sizzix with an embossing folder, made a tag.. added a bow and snowflake button! The tree one was again ran in my sizzix using an embossing folder, added my tree image tag on the front.. stamped sentiment, and a bow.. and your READY.. seriously 10 minutes each! Gotta LOVE that!! :)

Today I have a cute quick gift.. Snowman Soup! I have always wanted to make these up.. I think they are such a FUN idea.. so today I did! :) You cant tell but IRL it is glittery.. Used my spicas, and added a glitter snowflake I made up! I hope the girls like them...
Inside is a packet of cocoa, Hershey kisses, candy cane.. and those are SNOWMAN marshmallows I found at Target I believe.. I thought they would be PREFECT for the snowman soup! so I bought 4 bags! :)

Thursdays Share!! (Day 2)

So today I have 2 gift card holders for ya! :)

For both I used different sets of Nestabilities.. this first one I THINK I am gonna make up for Justins teachers, BUT he has to approve.. he wants NO GIRLY feel to them... SIGH.. so that means no SPARKLE or BLING (and that is HARD for me! ) I think they will pass his 14 year old 8th grade test! HA HA!!! :)
This one is in one piece.. I just folded my CS, and didnt place the die fully on it, so it would open like a card...

This next one.. well it has some glitter.. on the star.. I made the stars up with some of my YUMMY Martha Stewart White Gold Glitter- I LOVE them.. more will be coming! :)
This one I cut 2 of , and just scored so it would open nicely!

So how about another FUN pretzel recipe! The kiddos and I LOVE to make these.. so fast and easy again, and for the price of the dipped ones in stores you could make about 200! No KIDDING!!
I just use Milk Choc. and White Choc. Chips, melted.. then dip.. add sprinkles.. or my personal FAVORITE.. CRUSHED CANDY CANE!! Easy Peasy and sooo YUMMY!!! :)

HAPPY DECEMBER! (can you BELIEVE that! Time is FLYING by me!!)

So today I have a fun share for you.. I LOVE the 12 days of xmas ideas out there... crafts, stamping, baking - I am sure you get all the emails daily! LOVE them!).. Michelle and Melissa are doing a FUN one.. and you know I LOVE those PTI girls! SOOO I got the idea to ask on the boards if anyone wanted to join along.. and guess what they did!! (Day 1 can be found HERE!)

So today starts our Day 1 of the 12 days of xmas shares (I will have more.. maybe I can talk them into more too! HA!)- Also gonna enter this in some challenges!! (which was my goal in 2010.. more challenges...and GASP 2010 is almost done.. I better get busy on that! ;) )
This fun box is PERFECT size for some candy and a gift card! :) or a little homemade goodie!

Today he gets to stay home from school (ok it is a snow day.. BUT he would have got to SKIP anyway..) for his birthday Mom and Me day! I so LOVE those days.. just the birthday kiddo and me... today maybe a bit different as we are ALL home.. but I am SURE it will be fun! and tonite... a Macaroni Grill Knock Off Ravioli dinner! YUM!

I am back! It was a LONG week.. My hubby got home last friday (the 12th) AND my Grandpa passed away.. :( Such a sad LOSS for our family.. I know he is in a better place, and is healthy and happy.. but oh it is so HARD.. he was a WONDERFUL man.. and will be GREATLY missed!

So with all that went on I had no creative time.. THEN yesterday was Justins birthday party.. so finally I think I am caught up.. for the moment.. typing this I realized I FORGOT Thanksgiving cards.. ugh~ I guess I am not caught up! LOL!!

and YES it is SNOWING.. wahhhh NOT READY for that!

Papertrey Princesses Challenge!

Hello!! First of a big SORRY to my bloggy group for being behind in sharing my challenge.. and THANKS to Diane for the gentle reminder! :)

So it is my week to issue a challenge to our PTI blog group!! Gonna give you girls and EASY one! :) A color combo.. with a twist! If you want to do the twist!!
Color combo is this- Red/White or Cream/and Brown!
The Twist.. Alter something you would normally throw away!!

Here is my take on the challenge! Before this was a can of pineapple destine for the recycling bin! BUT I cleaned it, took off the bottom so I can fill it with treats! :) and altered it!!!

HAPPY VETERANS DAY!! and a BIG THANK YOU TO ALL MILITARY, (past, and present) and their FAMILIES!! I tell ya Steve has been gone 5 days now for work.. comes home tomorrow.. I dont know HOW others do it.. I am going CRAZY... :) Ok not CRAZY.. but well a little CRAZY! I am honest I can admit it! LOL!!! :)

Anyway.. so EXCITED for tomorrow.. CK convention with some friends, and my hubby coming home!!!

I have a card to share with ya! I made it for my Aunties anniversary (and uncle of course! LOL!) I hope she likes it. I had no idea what I was making.. just stated.. I like how it turned out.. in hind site.. I may have changed the flourish.. BUT I was late getting it mailed so it had to stay!!

All supplies but the pearls are from PTI.. and YEAH for copics.. I couldnt find my Summer Sunrise buttons so I just colored a fine linen one (and my pearls but I do that almost every creation!)! YEAH! LOVE when that works so well! LOL!!

Happy Tuesday... Hope your all having a GREAT week.. ours is going fine.. 3 more sleeps til Hubby/Daddy arrives home.. and we are all EXCITED for that!!

So I have had this box done for a couple days... just needed to make the tag and tie the ribbon around it!

This is one of Leigh Anns FABULOUS templates.. it is such a GREAT size box for treats, and little gifts.. at the moment I have nothing in it.. BUT when I do I will show you! :)

I WARNED ya about the snowflake right.. :) I LOVE it.. here it is again.. a bit larger.. :)
Here is the top... Had to have a bow and a tag right!! :)
This was such a FUN , and EASY template to put together.. I used the PDF file .. because well cricut is upstairs and the computer is downstairs!! and I am LAZY and didnt want to walk her down! HA! So I printed it on white paper, and used that for my pattern.. it really went together fast.. and I WILL be making more! :) I may even walk cricut down for them!
